Title: Power Armour weight
Post by: Drubbels on April 21, 2012, 08:44:47 PM
Mostly for fun, I'm trying to adapt the D&D 4th edition rules to a Deathwatch game (because my gaming group considers the FFG rpg rules incredibly cumbersome), and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with the weight of various armour types.

-Scout Armour: something like Carapace Armour?
-Power Armour: I know DH says 65 kg (not sure what the DW book says), but that seems a little low.
-Artificer Armour: heavier than Power Armour in keeping with the more ornate style or lighter to represent better craftsmanship?
-Terminator Armour: really no idea how much that should weigh.

Any ideas?

The given mass for power armour in the DH book is the mass for power armour as worn by unaugmented humans -- Deathwatch lists your Astartes armours as being 30, 180, 100 (yes, lighter) and 400kg respectively.
