Title: Aidan - other miniatures.

More Inquisitor figures - these characters are not a group themselves; rather, they are unaligned, wildcards, or else their allegiance is unknown.

This was Inquisitor Schardren, one of my IQ28 characters for whom I put a lot of work into creating a 54mm model for - to be used in exactly three scenarios, before he suffered a pre-determined and nasty fate. I've never exactly been good at thinking ahead. I still keep the model of course, using him to represent big, flashy minor characters in scenarios.

That's Schardren now, a ruined, soulless abomination. He's not really a wildcard since he's bound to Magos Diturian's service, but he operates independently. On the whole, a lot less pretty model than is previous self, with part of it a fairly early and rough attempt at sculpting. I quite like the head, though, which is one of my best adaptations from 28mm (I should get a photo of mini-schardren up at some point...)

Major Mnawa Alcis, scientific officer on the Chileon Expeditionary Force - not really a soldier, but given a military rank and sent to examine 'nids on the infested planet. This is his old miniature, barely a conversion really, but originally he was just intended for one campaign. He first served Inquisitor Hezerus and then switched sides to support Inquisitor Leon Haast, a tyrannid hunter who's not on good terms with Hezerus. He'll probably part ways with Haast at some point though.

Recently, I made him a new model, this one:

As you can see, largely self-sculpted with his head and boots transplanted and the Thorian's forearm (and bolt pistol) attached. He's also been properly based, which is more than can be said of his predecessor, or the Schardrens....

Sasta Peronne, all grown up. She's currently a kid in Amers' crew (see the Amers thread), but I've already worked out where she will be eight years down the track, when she'll next appear. She's not the annoying/charming kid anymore, she's a badass and downright mean flunky for a merchant captain.
I'm pretty happy with the way this model turned out, especially considering that it's basically one of the assassin twins with clothing added. In case anyone asks, her head is supposed to be a little oversized, as are her eyes, which is why she's always wearing a visor.

Based of the Drakula model, with just a little bit of work on his face to remove the vampiric traits of the famous Romanian bloodsucker. And a fewe other details added, but on the whole conversion is minimal - and, I think, unnecessary, since he's already fairly 'gothic'. The character portrayed is a fellow called Kalcaj, a shady figure who works for an Inquisitor - but noone knows who. He's soon going to appear in my campaign as the beginning of a new story arc.

Finally, Xaldrys, a sociopathic eldar pirate. Not dark eldar, min you, but only because she and her compatriots aren't cut out for the dog-eat-dog world of the Dark Eldar. She's a real wildcard, but not dangerous unless one is stupid enough to trust her.

Also, her model is anti-photogenic. I have found it impossible to get a good angle. The current image will have to do. She's by far not one of my best, but I'm pretty happy with it, given she only makes an occasional appearance.

That's all for now.
