i've been quiet as of late, having lost my mojo (coincidentally with my finance!) but one of our group did a nice thing for me;
my local gaming club is getting into Tragic: The Saddening and having sold off all my cards over a decade ago, i have been wary of buying back into it, but am unable to play when people don't wanna play toy soldiers!
still, Cliff gave us a deck so i can play and as thanks, thought i'd make him a marine to go with his dark angels (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?382809-Sisters-of-Battle-Project-Log-Order-of-the-Red-Rose&p=7009830&viewfull=1#post7009830).
Unusually for most of my marine projects (http://buildyourimagination.co.uk/minis/gallery_first_founding.php) i wasn't bothered with character or background, suitability for Inquisitor; this is purely for him to paint!

pretty straightforward; reposed to be upright, giant sword (modelled after classic 2nd ed swords) and a half-cloak that seems popular with Dark Angel Commanders!
the shoulderpad says Silex which google tells me means Rocks / Cliff.
The cloak isn't quite as smooth as i'd have liked and i took some shortcuts (wanted to take the letters out of the arm for instance) but as my attention span seems ot match my mood (very low) for a few evenings work he's tabletop standard!
hopefully Cliff will get him painted & i'll let you guys know, this post is more to get some movement going in the Conclave and hopefully get me motivated ! :)
He looks pretty sweet for something done quickly. I have some Dark Angels that have sat for, well I dread to think, probably a year, waiting for the next coat of paint so I wouldn't beat yourself up too much about not being in the mood!!! ;D
Gorgeous work Gav. You are the master of reposing Artemis. Look forward to seeing him painted.
