Isabella von Ravensberg

I've had this model knocking around for a while, but have never quite been inspired to finish her off.

The model is Raging heroes 54mm Asharah (I think that was her name anyway) with some slight modification to the head (She was originally wearing a mask which I carefully shaved away). The chainsword is malicants eviscerator and the holstered laspistols are his too. I was originally planning for her to have some sort of whip in her left hand in order to complete the slaaneshi succubus look, but I couldn't get it to look right and eventually gave up and stuck the book (which was one of the options includedwith Asharah) on instead. I've decided to incorporate that into her background now as the forbidden Tome of Shadows.

Daniel von Ravensberg

Another incomplete model I've had for ages is Mynarc the Unforgiven who I'll use as the base for Daniel (I may need to think of a new name, Daniel isn't particularly interesting without the von Ravensberg on the end).

I'm probably going to leave this model mostly in it's stock form, although I'll want to strip off the botched paintjob (I laid the red on a bit thick and felt that I'd ruined it, which is why it got abandoned). I've got a choice of three heads for him though, the stock Mynarc head, an Eisenhorn head and Malicants hooded and masked head. I quite like the idea of using Malicants head with the suggestion that he's hiding his ruined, corrupted face, although it's a more awkward fit than the other heads and I'm not 100% sure the hood works with the power armour:

Not seen that Raging Heroes model before. It does have a good sense of motion. And very big hair!

Malicant's hood on the Mynarc model would make for a decent change. It's entirely feasible for him to be wearing a cowl under the armour I would've thought.

As per the rules/background discussion, it seems fitting for Daniel to be in the thick of it with his armour while Isabella hangs back and uses her sorcerous powers.

Some work on the Tome of Shadows, with my attempt at sculpting a Thousand Suns symbol on it.

Run into a snag with the main models though, as my dark blue paints have all dried up. I've been attempting to use some old Humbrol enamels, however while the colours are still good (if a bit glossy), they take forever to dry and the stink is appalling! Hope the paints I ordered arrive tomorrow.
