Has anybody got any suggestions as to which games workshop inquisitor model (54mm) i should base my ordos xenos inquisitor on or what he should look like should i decide to model him from scratch

The Inquisition do not follow any strict doctrines on what they look like, pick a mini that you like the look of and convert it to make it into your Inquisitor, have a look at some of the threads at some of the ingenious methods of making Inquisitors.
Personally I think the Bounty Hunter has great merit for any Ordo Inquisitor, he is close enough but not right there to match the witch hunter inquisitor and leaves enough that you can put your own twist on things.
Covenant also has a lot of generic Inquisitor aspects that can be used.
