Dear community,

From our wargames club in Panama we are launching a Kickstarter for the development of this version of Inquisitor. It is mainly a big compilation and unification of supplements and revisions, with added modifications in the mechanics for remastering Inquisitor in a modern skirmish wargame. But keeping the original flow!

Please take a look at the project, it is more important for us your feedback and contributions than monetary support for the campaign. But some resources can help us and the community to launch a modern indie version with all its surrounding aesthetic and production. And with an easy entry level for newcomers and good taster for specialists.

Given there's not been a specific offer from anyone else, my working plan so far is to run an event looking at the start of the (much delayed) Alykia crusade - a narrative started with "The Saint" in 2011 and continuing through "Legacy" in 2018, but you won't need to have been at these earlier events.

Having enquired with WHW about Saturdays in June, apparently the 3rd, 10th and 24th are available, so start letting me know your availability.

EDIT:
Narrative event planned for Saturday 24th June at WHW. Details pending.

ORIGINAL POST:

Sorry - I've been quite absent from around here for the last few months.

However, I think it's time to think about maybe doing something this year, because I never actually get on with projects without some kind of deadline.

As far as my thoughts, obviously another IGT is always an option, but as that's the last thing we ran, it might be nice to have a story driven event - if nothing else, the Alykia crusade narrative I'd planned has been postponed for quite some time.

Alternatively, another thing I would like to do at some point is some more Revised Edition playtesting.

Thoughts? Offers to run events? Etc?

At some point, I need to find the patience to properly digitise the remainder of what I've got, but my scanner is a somewhat tedious beast.

Gentlemen... bigger isn't always better.... I printed the bases from the previous post at 2 sizes. 40mm and 32mm scales. Thinking this was the correct sizes to match with the bases I had used to hold them for painting. Some how, is some weird qwerk, I had checked this, I had picked up one of the spare, empty bases on my desk and dropped it on a ruler to be sure. And bang, ez 32mm base. So off I went to scale and support all these lovely bases at 32mm.

Print, clean, de support, cure and photo (above). Glorious. until I moved my running knife guy, and then ut oh. He's clearly not on a 32mm, and he looks tiny near it. Ferk...... The one random base on my desk was in fact 1 random base!!!! GRRRRRR. Oh well, printer goes brrr for a reason so new build plate and off it went.

Much Better!

Time to prime!

Welcome to the Forum

I have not seen any of the individual, full issues in good quality PDF. There are articles scattered throughout the documents within the PDFs pinned post.

I have always planned to abuse the industrial scanner in the office to make HQ PDFs of all the mags. Just never pulled the trigger before I left the office life to work from home!
