Hi guys,
somebody asked for a retrospective and I am happy to oblige:

Let's start with my very first Inquisitor model, a commisar inspired by Gaunt books.
He is at the moment being reworked with a new gun, sword and color scheme for the cape

after him I painted the assassins to enter a GW store competition
they actually had a small diorama built around but it is been dismantled for parts

Next came a little conversion of the flagellant. I just had to make a wolfman, maybe a failed experiment !!

The next two should have been part of a pirate crew

Then we have my namesake Judge-minos and a couple of his enforcers

My lovely lady, Inquisitor Dolphinus, was inspired by the witchhunter codex and so was her Paladin Beatix Belange

while the third of the group was just a way to use Joseph, of which I had at the time 3 copies (bought on ebay as part of a 20 models badly painted)

Then there is an Imperial guard seargent of which I am pretty proud of

Another Joseph was turned into a fanatical redemptionist

for whom I also created a boss

The next one started as a slannesh herald on 40k but when I got tired of GW he became a Daemon host

and finally my latest models, both part of a radical xenos warband

hope you like it
bye

I just thought that you might as well like to have a teasing of what I am working on so here is a pic of my working table.
The first and second line are getting painted, the third is going to be and the last line on the background is still getting putty work done.

I am a little slow but I hope this has wetted your appetite  ;D

dunno where to start, so many cool minis.

but what i really like, is the basket-hilted chainsword! which parts did you use?

Adlan

Fantastic Collection. The Wolfman really leaps out at me :D but it looks like it'd be equally suited to Witch hunter, as it has nothing really tying it into 40k. Fun creature though :D

Inquisitor Dolphinus (Inquisitrix surely?) is a fantastic conversion, looks spot on, for a moment I thought it was 28mm. The Kimono style bow is nice.

The Drill Abess conversion from Joseph is nice (assuming the wimple makes her female?). Is she weilding a staff, or some other weapon.

I'm a fan of Guardsman models that look 'real' makes the 40k verse feel inhabited to me. I like the feel of the model.

The Enforcer Warband is great, love the Cyber Masstif Conversions, I know how hard they are to pull off.

The Redemptionist warband has a brilliantly necromunda look to it. I love the Vox Caster Skull. Does it have rules?

A shining example of versatility, imagination and inspiration. What a cool collection. I love so much that's here. The commissar is great, I love his gun tbh! The sitting Cyber mastiff is wonderful. I really want one. Good job on capturing the slightly insane, baroque stylings of Blanche/ 40k; all of these miniatures look crazy enough to fit the setting better than as 40k troops or stock sci-fi elements.

I'm pretty sure I remember most of those models from you posting on older 'claves, but they're still some great work.
Those WIPs look great, can't wait to see them finished.
It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

That will depend on the woman in question. If she tells you to call her Inquisitor rather than Inquisitrix, then it's not usually a good idea to argue.

Anyway, technically, while you can replace the latin -tor ending in words such as Doctor, Janitor, Victor and Dictator with -trix to represent the female, it is neither necessary nor common practice.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Hi guys,

That would be me. And I am happy that you did - it is great to see your collection again.

What happened to your sanctioned psyker (the model that was the inspiration for mine)?

Perhaps Kaled can add this to the retrospectives section in the  models and modelling resources post?

judge-minos

Hi everyone,
Thanks to all the compliments but Now that I see them again I realize that I should take new pictures of some models which look a little out of focus.
some remember most of my stuff from the old conclave, I have been a little lazy but I promise much more will come (the fact as well that there is no one I can play with in the New York area doesn't help)

That was the thing I liked about the old sword I actually made it with putty then glue it in place, the sword itself was really too big and seeing the ideas in the forum I decided to renew the model a little.

I like to call her Lady Inquisitor, the bow is inspired by the 28mm Inquisitrix ;D

Of course it was you, just could not remember after a week (and too lazy to go and check the old posts, ahem)

The sanctioned psyker is receiving a make over, you did such a good job of it that I started seeing inperfections I needed to fix, next thing I know I had ripped of his sash because the putty work was horrible. the judge head as well looked tiny on kal jerico chest so I am looking for a replacement.

Thanks again to all of that keep this forum the best in the world
