Question: Bonus bits for the eldar ranger

I haven't seen anything modelling wise for a while now, to give you an idea how long, last time I checked I could buy Inq bitz from GW... So my question is this. Where do I get the conversion packs for models, specifically some bonus bits for the eldar model and a whole heap of Imperial Guard bits.

Now if they come with the model that is fine, since I intend on picking up the (stunning) eldar model some time soon anyway but if not, why not?

Thanks

Edit: Vague question title, I would never do such a thing

It's a bit hit and miss. Some just plain aren't available at all, but a few are now available in with their original sets.

As far as I know:
- The Imperial guard conversion packs are no longer available from GW in any form. You'll either have to scour eBay or ask on the Arcadian Smugglers Ring (a Yahoo group) if you need them.
- The Eldar conversion pack may however be bundled in with the Eldar box, but you'll need to wait for someone else who has actually bought it more recently than I have (I bought mine over half a decade ago) to confirm that.

Quoteif not, why not?
Moulds wear out - and when they do, GW don't see it as worth the money to replenish a mould that only makes them a relatively small amount each year.

The Specialist games aren't big sellers, and the current GW management are businessmen who care about the pennies, not hobbyists who care about the games.

One other thing: I'm not a moderator here, but if you had wandered onto one of the sites I do moderate, I would have had a word with you about that vague thread title*. It's meant to be descriptive, so use something other than just "Question".

*Although you at least didn't use "Help", to which I have a general rule of responding to with "Thanks, don't need any."
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".
