Bought these off Ebay recently, billed as 54mm but the marines are slightly taller than the eldar ranger  (only realised he would be a better comparison after uploading all the pics to photobucket) :( I was going to use them as tall gangly voidborns anyway but think it would be pushing it, still hack them up!

EDIT: Reckon they'd scale about 6ft7 I do know two 6ft 7 persons to be fair.......

However massive gribbly alien models! I have 6 plus a feww face hugger pods :P

Hopefully will get some paint on an alien n the next week. Quality is surprisingly high for little bendy plastic models

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to die.

the size isn't much of a problem, 6 ft 7 if I have the imperial system in my mind correctly would be about 2 meters tall, I know a lot of people who are that tall or even taller.
Circles of the wise My attempt at writing something, please comment on it if you have any advise.

Well as long as people would be happy to play against them then I'm not fussed, just don't want to spend hours converting figures to have people not want to play them, which would be fair enough I guess on their half.

Oh dear, I don't know who the sculptor was for those marines, but they certainly needed more anatomy practice. They'll do as voidborn, but I'd give them a miss otherwise.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Haha indeed, but from the viewpoint of trying to find gangly tall models it was incredibly hard! But even then a few of these have unuseably large legs.....

Some are very useable though if a little 'anime' but hoping to combine with the dark eldar new beastie thing I have ordered to be creepy void born crew men for my Tannhauser character

If you could find a set of the water caste heads and sculpt tau feet you could turn some of them into Tau air caste  ;)
