Magos Berith Rowne was a standard Explorator working out on the Eastern Fringes investigating Xenos Energy Weapons. It was during study of ruins on the dead world of Geryon V the team was attacked by an Eldar warhost, striking from nowhere, devastating the team leaving the corpses out to the stars.

Magos Rowne was left twisted and torn amongst the wreckage, his life draining slowly away.
Unwilling to face death, the Quest burned through his veins with hatred of the xenos scum. This driving force kept him going, he repaired a servitor and utilised an MIU link to create a life support system and perform the surgery to transplant his dying brain into the unit.
Now he travels with other members of the Mechanicus; still on the hunt for new and interesting methods for purging the Xenos threat.

based off a Bronze Age 54mm blank, it started off looking a bit too close to something Charax is working on so i tore it down and rebuilt upto where it is now

so, gonna add a half dozen mechadendrites from the stump of the arm and magnetize the shoulder joint so if the Magos needs a rest i can add a bionic arm in its place  ;D

i make no apologies, i warned you my ability to roll ones was infectious...

Is that the brain on the right arm there ?

It's certainly going to look unique, and almost certainly good.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!

This is turning out wonderfully 'grimdark' - what model did you use as a base?
An Inquisitor walks into a bar - he rolls D100 to see if he hits it.

if its not too late, how do you feel about having the brain strapped to the chest? conjures images of memorable characters like

just a thought

Very nice work for a great concept. It looks like it might look really right heavy, so whatever you are going to put on the left arm, I'd make it look like it has some weight.

How are you going to do hit location. I pressume the right arm will have the hit location of a head, buty will the head too? could the character function if the servitor's head was blown off or will he have two heads. I'd give him lots of armour on the implant head and possibly a force field as the arm location is much more likely to be hit in combat.

there was a big order for these on the Old 'Clave just before you signed up IIRC.
Hit Bronze Age Miniatures into google or look in the modelling resource, think there's a link in there.

I love this character concept Gav, you seem to be pulling out all the stops at the moment. Making me feel bad about getting distracted by commissions and 28mm work. Oh and restructuring my vampire counts army so it doesn't lose so much... :D

Like the restructuring of the skull in the box and the bionics about the base of his neck most!
