Inquisitor Sargoth

Aware you're busy, Necris, but I'd like some more details on this planet we'll be visiting.

Who is/are the Governor/s, where are they based? What's the local Ministorum like?

The Adeptus Arbites? I'd assume a single small precinct to cover the whole world, with the arbites relatively overworked and either somewhat bitter about a placement with little-to-no chance of advancement or possibly arbites who fitted in s badly they were essentially banished to this dustball.

What minerals are actually mined here  - boring thing like iron, bauxite and coal, sci-fi things like osmium and adamantium or more exotic things (crystals for psychic hoods, kryptonite, etc)?

Why is the Skyhook so crucial - can't thing be brought up and down by shuttle, or is there some reason like electromagentic interference or a weird atmosphere that prevents this? Also I'd expect a small AdMech prescene around the Skyhook, tending to, studying and worshipping it.

Any local customs, organisations or characters we should know about?

Seeing as we're talking about that sort of thing, I should point out that (as is hinted at, although not explicitly stated, in her background), Gala had a relationship with Colour Pugnaerus, and it was the grief from his death that caused her to lose her arm.
So... she's got a few issues. Mind you, I'm not shy about roleplaying my character's sexualities.

Anyway, I've made a slight change to Gala's personality section. A note about a knack for improvisation, her (mostly) sanitary language and a subconscious tendency to prefer her left hand for physical contact.

Also, I make little secret that I nicked a lot of the personality from the cancelled Riley Hallona, so damn it, I've put the note about her cooking back in.
While it might be odd for a underhiver to know about cooking, I like the idea that (once she finally got off her poisonous rock of a home planet) she became enthralled with food that wasn't actually puréed fungus that had been grown in a septic tank.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Pah. Just because she has no sex drive (or organs) to speak of...
Exactly so. :P

QuoteMy own terrible love for TV Tropes has led to my updated bio including a variety of distracting and fun links as well. I've also fleshed out a few bits, cyborged out others and added a 'Writing Tips' part for when other players have to take control.
I'll have to take a look a bit later, I have a rather busy day today, but it'll be interesting to get more of an overview of what makes Lina tick.

Good luck with trying it on Rebekah either, she has a trick or two at keeping a witch out of her head, and being a cloistered soroita will mean she is practically ironclad with her chastity.
Sororitas don't actually have a vow of chastity (source: Cain's Last Stand, in which Sister Julien is heavily implied* to have slept with Brasker), but fair enough, though I wouldn't imagine Severino knows (or cares) about either that, or Rebekah's Psychic Static. In any case, he's not a telepath, but I guess bringing Rebekah's quirks to the table benefits everyone in some way so it's better that we know than that we don't.

Also good to know, and actually adds depth to the character. On that note I need to re-read Gala's character sheet so that I can get a better measure of her as a character (though given the nature of the current discussion, I should point out that this is for my benefit when interpreting Gala, not for the purpose of writing as Severino)

*To the point where it's even given a footnote, if memory serves.

His weapons make much more sense now, although the fact that he's carrying an assault gun makes me chuckle :P

Well, the line between assault rifles and LMGs can get a bit wobbly on occasion (which is why some bigger assault rifles are classed as "battle rifles"), but there's nothing wrong with just having it as a slightly larger-than-normal assault rifle. There's no single pattern of autogun in the 40Kverse, after all.

As I understand it, the two have roughly similar rates of fire, basing my judgment on the Steyr AUG,  the FAMAS, and the British L85 versus the Heckler & Koch MG4 and the FN Minimi (probably better known as the M249). I'm fairly sure that the above are either well-known or generally well-used by various militaries, so while my samples are hardly representative, in practuce they can still work as baselines.

Ok have added a personality to my character sheet.

Corpus Wolf - your characters knew death and thievery from before the age of 9? I'm sorry but the way you describe your characters background it's highly unlikely that a child would survive in that environment

In response to this the point is the he grew up a street urchin and has learnt how to defend himself from a young age and also helped with his ability to kill without morals being an issue.
