I suspected as much (it seemed relatively unlikely you'd been part of a forum RP elsewhere).

Your revision looks good, and it covers the points I made pretty well. (I particularly love the rivalry with Dreki and the fact they're trying to put each other off). All in all, much more in keeping with the characters involved.

QuoteWould ammo-hopper be acceptable?
Yeah, that would be clear enough.

Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Hmm. I was expecting we would spend a little while investigating the orbital end of the skyhook (after all, it's an important location) but I suppose there's no real reason the group couldn't have split up already.

To be honest, other than securing our LZ, I didn't think we were there to investigate the skyhook, I could be wrong though.

Another post ready. I'm just waiting for the rest of the team to catch up.

Dolnikan

I just posted my first post, it's quite short but that's because I don't really know what to do.
Circles of the wise My attempt at writing something, please comment on it if you have any advise.

I assumed we'd at least be passing a few words with the people who were there to meet us!

I had more conversation and the like to do, but if everyone wants to continue, then I guess I'll have to go back and edit that into the previous post. (Better there than going completely non-linear narrative)

Van Helser

That's me jumped in.

Coming up with that piece was far more taxing than it should have been.  I'm so out of practice at this.

Ruaridh

Macabre

Hahahaha! Occupied with contemplating the holy? This is soooo unlikely, she's too analytical to be so devout. More than likely she's focusing on the task in hand whilst simultaneously rearranging the rooms of her mind palace into a more efficient configuration.

I'm sure Corsten's opinion of Rebekah will be changed as this investigation proceeds!  Ex-progenia have high opinions of members of the sororitas. Poor guy's in for some disappointment!

Ruaridh

Macabre

To be honest, they'd probably find a lot in common :), they're both orphans and have a high degree of academic training in specialist arenas. So, although he may be disappointed by her lack of expected piety, I can forsee a very productive partnership here (professionally speaking of course, she's celibate).

Posted up another piece for Sword. Object if you will!

Possibly slightly ahead of everything else there, but RPs tend to devolve into a mess of different stories all running out of sequence with each other anyway.

The other thing is the assumption Gala is somehow in charge...

I imagine she's one of the higher ranking (having been just short of consideration to start the progression towards an Inquisitor herself), but she's also "on loan". I'd only personally suggest she was in any kind of authority position in the team if the other players are happy with that...

Koval

Without really knowing much about the NPCs or what we're likely to encounter, even OOC, I can't really transfer an awful lot into an IC post. Similarly I doubt many of the other PCs would want to talk to Severino too much, for fear of him jacking their keys / lunch money / whatever innocuous items they might be carrying.

As such, my offering is a little sparse, but there's not much for Severino to do. I'm not exactly out to steal anything from anyone just yet.

Inquisitor Octavian Lars

Matthew consults with Gala, mainly because he trusts her and respects her. (He also as mentioned, fancies her.) Sword also prefers to confide in someone (even if privately), and the 3 reasons stated make Gala that person. If you are OK with that Marco.

Similar feelings to Koval, though I might be able to get something fairly short together and give you guys a sneak peek of her POV. I suspect Lina would be the one best suited to decrypting the datapad.

Also, noted the 'mind palace' and Severino's very Holmesian breakdowns of people. I've only seen two episodes of Sherlock, but it seems to be resonating with you all. I can't talke, of course - Lina's partly inspired by the surprisingly good film adaptation.

I've not seen any of it -- it's just how I'm choosing to represent Severino's Hyper Awareness. If he were doing an active scan rather than a passive one then we might be seeing rather a lot more.
