Dave or Gav, can you update the Carthax link in the first post to the new Wikia site: http://carthax.wikia.com/wiki/Modelling_resources
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Great news MarcoSkoll, as I was about to ask if a replacement site had been found!

In a similar vein to the 1/32 starcraft army men, here's some 1/32 aliens and colonial marines. Pretty naff sculpts if you ask me but could maybe serve as IG NC

Didnt you point out my npc pool idea was a year apart?
Think my memory is playing up!

I'm sure i had an idea for a collection of Conclave NPCs ...

Are there any other resources for 54mm vehicles? (specifically an arvus lighter - the "reach for the sky" DM article has inspired me to build my own.

Incidentally I was the player with the Rogue Trader in that article who kept trying to grab that wonderfully built 54mm valk - but it didn't escape into the sunset, as I had to fly it into fuel tanks to take out the warbands hostile to mine, and also "remove" the assassin about to kill my RT (he ejected before that could happen, and before the valk hit the fuel tanks).

Extremely funny you should mention this - look what I just found for preorder on Amazon;

A 1:32 Battlestar Galactica Raptor by Moebius Models.
Looks like a perfect shuttle/gun cutter to my eyes!

With a bit of conversion I could see that being a pretty good vehicle in Inquisitor. Would need more skulls, eagles, and gubbins though.

I thought I would add some links to some miniature ranges (some of which have already been posted before), as well as my opinion of them for inq. I'll mainly talk about size discrepancies though, as it was one of the things I was concerned about when I started to venture beyond the official inq range.

First a small rant...
I wonder if we have entered a 'golden age' for inquisitor 54mm related minis? Even though the official range stopped over a decade ago , there seems to be more suitable minis from other manufacturers than ever before. Maybe some need a little bit of work to be 40k-ified, but I think many would fit a grimdark setting. And with miniature lines also springing up via crowdfunding, quite a few of the kickstarters also do 'limited runs' of 54mm scale minis using 3d printing tech (I'm thinking Infamy, toughest girls of the galaxy etc).

The hazard of buying from other ranges is that the scale is all over the place. And what is labelled as 54mm may not actually be 54mm at all. But I guess we are used to this as the official inq range is very poor at being consistent in scale anyway (the daemonhuntress is massively tall, the imperial guard are relatively small, etc). I understand that in real life that heights vary substantially. However, it would be nice to have the minis at about the right height to begin with.

Pegaso models. Gehenna range. http://www.pegasomodels.com/products_en.asp?idcat=44
I don't know about the others in this 54mm range, but Nokjagerin and Krankod are both about the right size for inq.

Ares Mythologic. Draconia range. http://www.aresmythologic.com/v2/en/12-draco-54mm
Generally these miniatures are just way too big out of the box (even though they are labelled 54mm). Ehion, Soozh-Urth, and Mordhock are too big and bulky and would require some major work to get them to the right size. The Dark Elf looks about the right size for an eldar though.

Ares Mythologic. Dark World range. http://www.aresmythologic.com/v2/en/13-dark-world
The vampire hunter is too big and bulky as well. Jhonn Creek doesn't seem quite so big, and could probably be sized down without too much work.

Helldorado. https://www.ludikbazar.com/miniatures-games-wargames/fantastic-heroic/hell-dorado-asmodee/-helldorado-spare-parts-/c-460-4271-3647-5486
Now discontinued. However, this store has heaps of bits at a great price. Some of the larger minis from this range look like they would fit scale-wise.

Scibor Fantasy 54mm. http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?group=159
The vampire hunter and Alfred the monster killer are about the right height. The dwarf sniper looks about the right height for a squat (a taller squat). Their 28mm scifi ogre Cossacks (http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?group=168) are smaller in height than an inq model and with a little work may be suitable squats...if you like your squats beer-bellied and topless that is  :)

Tin's Bits Miniatures 54mm. http://www.zinnfigur.com/index.php?cPath=2_275_428_2214&language=en&osCsid=g4a2mfrqdnvqhh3f3nuk9g99i2
The Pestcyclops and Domina are both a tad small and thin. Domina probably fits the inq range as is though. The Pestcyclops probably needs a little work to make him taller as it doesn't feel imposing (I don't know how tall plaguebearers are supposed to be. Human-sized?)

Forgeworld. Chaos Renegade Ogryn Bezerkers.
https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-AT/Renegade-Ogryn-Berserker-with-Axe
The renegade ogryns are all a bit small, but perfect in bulk. With some work to extend the legs to make them look anatomically correct, they are perfect size for inq.

Enigma Firstborn 54mm http://www.arcaneminiatures.co.uk/54mm-firstborn-miniatures.asp
Some of this range is about the right size for inq. Jarek, Maskland are a good size. The scout demon seems a tad small (but it could be the pose). Sumothay is a perfect size for dark eldar. Yarry is perfect size for an old school ratling.

Andrea 54mm. Warlord Saga. http://www.andreaeurope.com/en/1/andrea-miniatures/123/warlord-saga.html?p=1
I don't know much about most of this range. Menhom is the right scale anatomically, but with the pose, really towers over inq miniatures. Nalach is also tall.

Andrea 54mm. Dark Nova.
http://www.andreaeurope.com/en/1/andrea-miniatures/136/dark-nova.html
Gabriel Blackburn is pretty tall for 54mm and would need a bit of work to size him back to inq size (maybe more a catachan frame).

Hidalgo-Beneito 54mm miniatures. http://www.miniaturasbeneito.com/en/catalog/54-mm
The scale seems all over the place here. The gunner is larger than an inq figure, but with some work can probably fit with inq, especially if catachans are larger/bigger than ordinary imperial guard (though the head may be too big). However, he is much larger than toothpick murke (though the official inq imperial guard were too small to begin with). In comparison, Rorke's Drift is smaller and thinner than Gunner, and seems to be about the right height for inq.

Black Army Modells https://www.blackarmymodells.com/product-category/figures/54mm/
Colonel Varys, Space Guard and Space Infantry are all a bit tall (and much taller than the small inq imperial guard). However, with a little work, I think they can be sized correctly (may be more difficult with colonel Varys though).

Kellerkind 54mm miniatures. http://www.shop.battlefield-berlin.de/index.php/katalog/showarticles/32520-1-kellerkind_miniaturen.html
Oberst Von Stahl fits the inq scale perfectly.

North Star models 54mm. http://northstarmodels.com/product-category/figures/1-32-54mm/
A great range of models. Some are a tad large, and may need to be sized down a little.

Joaquin Palacios miniatures http://www.figone.fr/en/category/joaquin/
Battle of Frozenfang is very close to the right size for a space marine (the head may be a little small)

Reaper Master Series 54mm https://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/masterseriesminiatures/
Finari and Belladonna both scale very well for inq.

Kabuki. Big sisters range. http://kabuki-models.com/11-big-sisters
Shinobi is about the right height for inq.

Anime Tactics. http://elementgames.co.uk/wargames-and-miniatures/fantasy-miniatures-games/anima-tactics
Some of the larger minis are about right for inq. For example, Goethia and Grimorium are about the right size. But Konosuke is too small.

Privateer Press. Warmachine. https://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/mercenaries/warcasters
I only know that the top half of Exulon Thexus fits inq pretty well. I don't play warmachine so I'm unsure what else would work with inq scale, though there are quite a few large minis in this range.

Black Sailors. Pirate Orcs http://legionofthecow.com/2015/10/18/black-sailors-miniatures-kickstarter-round-up/
This was a kickstarter from last year. I'm sure there was a webstore too but can't find it with google. Some of these orcs have great 40k potential. The scale is about 54mm, they are slightly bigger from memory.

Hitech miniatures 54mm. http://hitechminiatures.com/12-54mm-miniatures
S-F exorcist lord absalon is about the right height for power armour. Unfortunately the mini is attached to the base, so some major hacking needed. The cape is also attached (and very bulky).

Hope this helps...

Cymrilian: First off, Egads! You Can post!  ;) Secondly that's a great list of models and thanks for the scale tips as well.

Do you have any of them yourself? Pics against the GW versions would be great if you do.
