I recently stumbled over this:

http://www.nyd-miniatures.com/

54mm zombies and survivors.
Could be a useful resource?

https://www.heroforge.com/

Has 1:30 scale minis. Given that you can customise model height to an extent, perhaps this might prove viable?

A friend of mine linked me to HeroForge a while ago - I'm not sure how it would turn out, but it looks like there are a lot more options than the last time I used it. Just created a female techy character on there, who with a bit of 40king up and the height setting set to max, might be viable as a petite machine-wizard. Oh how the mechanicum will hate her.

Lord Borak

Heroforge looks quite cool and seems like a good way to get a decent pose & face ready for sculpting on. But it's still pretty damn expensive. You can 'double up' on scale but I'm not sure if that'd be the right scale as that would be 60mm.

mcjomar

Well you can alter the relative height of the model/character, so perhaps that might be a way to get around the issue? I'm not sure.

Sumaki

wasn't sure if this had been posted before but http://rcscifi.blogspot.co.uk/

this guy makes model spaceships with working lights, very good stuff, good for inspiration if your looking to make 54mm scale ships such as kaleds shuttle.

This looks like it could be handy. There may be other scaled choices from this site also - I'm considering vehicles, for example.

Linked to this model on the Carthaxian Inquisitor FB page earlier today: http://www.figone.fr/mutant/

Figone are a French company and produce 35, 54, 75mm minis.  Some great looking stuff here.

As per previous occasions if any 'claver, especially a caster, is bidding, please post so we know not to bid.

I didn't know that was the rule here, but I like it :).

Now I just really hope a caster bids on it, because I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one one day, but I have to keep talking myself down from bidding (due to some inheritance, I could actually bid, but I know I really shouldn't...)

mcjomar

It's not so much a rule as a suggestion, really.
We've had previous instances where some folks were outbidding each other from within the conclave, driving the price up (sometimes) unnecessarily.

'Tis a good idea though, like a gentlemen's agreement. For are we not all gentlemen here (well, except for the few ladies)? ^^

Lord Borak

I'm gonna go for it. It's one of the few models I'm missing.

I know Thantos has one and made a some casts of it. I just want the metal version :D

realitybytes16

Oh god please win! I'd love a cast of that model! ^^
