No worries  :) I received my order from black market minis last week and the quality was flawless (for the bounty hunter and the misc bits lot). Can highly recommend them.

BTW, minis were you planning to send to them?

I offer them to lend  them a sgt stone and a corvidius new in box. They seems to be interrested. When the recast will be done, they will send me back my miniature with a recast version of it (but if I want I can choose another model from there catalogue).
I seriously consider to buy some models over the bay in order to send them before selling them back.

greenstuff_gav

i can't be arsed to sign up; what sort of price are they?
funnily enough i've got shot of 90% of my collection; i suspect they'd drool over what Lord Borak has in his collection...
i make no apologies, i warned you my ability to roll ones was infectious...

From memory, about US$25 each, so a bit pricey unless they have a sale.

Mrrien

I brought mine about 15$ each during actual sales (until 1st jan 2018)

I ordered something from BMM last night - we'll see how it looks if/when it arrives, there's not been much communication from their end so far.
If it comes through in OK time and good quality, I might go ahead and pick up a few of the Inquisitor models too, since the casts actually look fairly crisp.

Just ordered from them with my Christmas money :P Yaaay finally another bounty hunter! Also I might send them a few things if all goes well with the stuff you send - things like the callidus, or Kal Jerico.

Great news ! I am speaking with them via Messengers right now and I will send them Covadius, sgt Stone, Duke Von Castellan and probably an Arbites.

Mrrien

By the way, and if users of this community are intereested, maybe could we open a new topic about Black Market Miniatures and list there the models they have and the one people here can lend them ?

Speaking in admin mode, I would have to remove such a topic for legal reasons.

It's one thing if at the bottom of another thread someone says they might send them something (at that point the forum itself isn't particularly implicit), but the forum cannot be seen to be so openly involved in the sale of copyright infringing material, and drawing the attention of GW Legal over that could potentially catch things like the rules archive project* in the blast radius.

* Which isn't really legal, although unless we tick them off over something else, GW seems to be mostly tolerant of Specialist Games communities continuing to freely distribute rules after the original GW sites hosting them have been consolidated. (I know, for example, that places like Yaktribe are well known to the GW team).

Any actual organised discussion of such a thing needs to be kept off the main forum.

Roger that. Sorry for the mistake

Hello all, I recently made a purchase on Raging heros for a 4 pack of 54mm characters they are selling for a limited time and the look about the right size for inquisitor, thought I'd rejoice in the glory of the emperor and spread the word

*Correction, these models said they were 54mm but make my actual inquisitor models look 4ft tall in comparison and are more the height of the space marines*

A trip report on Heroforge:
https://www.heroforge.com/

I've had 3 "30mm" models from this source now.
All of them were the premium plastic, rather than the normal plastic.
They came out beautifully.
But that's $30 per mini.

I've not tried the 60mm "xl" size minis yet, as that would be quite a bit of outlay ($60) for plastic that is rated at the lowest quality levels.
So for 28mm Inquisitor, this does rate highly (depending on taste for the available parts selections/combinations).
But at 54mm I don't know if I could consider recommending it given the manufacturer's rating for the quality of the mini (low) vs the cost for such a custom mini (high).

Here's a quick and rough example of the sort of thing you can make:

Whoops, I deleted it. :-[

If you're looking for a long coat, then be mindful that base decorations probably won't work too well with it.

Lord Borak

Thanks for the links. Where does it say about the scale in the first link? Is 1/35 the best scale for inquisitor?

MarcoSkoll

54mm is really closer to 1:32 scale, so 1:35 is a bit on the small side, but it is just about usable, particularly with a little conversion or a thick base.
