Inquisitor Maltheus

It has been MANY years since I have seen these hallowed halls!!  I am glad to be back.  I feel as overwhelmed and excited as I did the first time I stumbled across the Conclave over a decade ago!  I can't wait to see what has CHANGED...and what's stayed the same.

Looking forward to lots of writing, lots of fun...and lots of adventures, once again.

Truly,

Inquisitor Christian Maltheus, Ordo Xenos

Charax, Dosdamt, and all...
I was super excited to see you all on this site.  I am looking forward to catching up on where the story lines are...and perhaps writing the return of one of Amon Dull's favorite playthings.  I

I am off to do much reading now!

No, but seriously - welcome back. Whomever you may be.

A long time ago, on a forum far, far away...

Marco - Maltheus is one of the old ones. Back when Inquisitor was still on the OLD GW forums (circa, I think, 2002, as I'd just gone to university), that's when ArbitratorBob, Saussure, Nexus, Charax, NO1-H3R3, Maltheus, me under my old handle SlaaneshBen, Mentirius, InquisitorRex, Mefisto, Espen / Drazh, Xaras, and a host of others first got things rolling. Then we moved to the Specialist Games forum, wow, some time around 2003. After that, we RP'd heavily, some of which has been saved, most has been lost.

Fast forward to 2013, and there's a revival - part spontaneous, part poked; part coincidence, part providence.

Aha, welcome back!  I was hoping you'd reappear too.  If ever there was a man who deserved to survive Amon Dull, it was Inquisitor Maltheus.  Jolly good to see you sir.

You have no idea, old friend, how incredible this is. The Old Ones are returning.

Good to see you as well. Do you not find it even a little humorous that our titles are "INITIATES"?  Haha!
Working a reintroduction post now.

Yes. And they're all talking about plots too far before my time to do anything but go over my head.

(Which is probably going to force me to sit out. I haven't the foggiest about your past histories).

New forum, new start.

Anyway, for all of you lot I haven't met before: Hello. I'm Marco Skoll. Basically... Run.

Marco,
I was not complaining in the least...at the title initiate.  It was a funny observation between old friends.  I do, indeed feel as if I am being re-initiated into the Conclave.  While the histories may not be familiar to you....know that this group of "Old Ones" contributed greatly to the shape of the conclave as it was, and is.
As far as forcing you to sit out?  You said it youself...New Forum, New Start...there's no reason to sit out.

I look forward to working with 'new' talent as much as I look forward to reuniting with the other 'old ones.'

Nice to meet you, Marco Skoll.

Likewise, Marco, there's nothing to stop you from reading the old stuff in my archive (linked in post 1 in Welcome to the Truth), catch up on the old guard escapades from a bygone era.

Welcome back, Maltheus ^_^

They are old songs, Marco, the words likely unfamiliar but the tunes always remain the same.

If you'd like to get involved, surely do
