some good stuff there, time for paint!

Heroka Vendile

Some super stuff in there, my favourites have to be Zero and Quartzman especially. I think I can recognise every part you've used, even the couple obscure older ones, all except Alaigilhrivë's legs... are they from Nagash perhaps?
It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

My goodness, these are incredible. I'd love some more shots of the Hrud - Inquisitor-wise, I sort of see them as my baby, and am really interested in your take on them

Some fantastic characters!
I especially like the tech priest with axe.

Love his (lack of) face.

@Heroka Vendile - They are Nagash's legs, just with the details stripped and the one foot turned inwards (rather than flat out to the sides).

@DapperAnarchist - I will probably take more shots of the whole crew (some 40+ members) when I come around to finally paint them in the new year.

Thanks for the comments so far ^_^

What a rather cracking selection.  My personal favourites are the Charon Vagrant and the Vespid.  I would especially like to know how these two came together.

Two models that don't quite do it for me are Earl Widdershins-Barabbas and Marquis LeMarquand-Barabbas.  The former I think is just a little plain amongst the illustrious company here, and the arms on the latter just seem too slight.  Minor criticisms of an otherwise exceptional bunch.

@Van Helser, to be truthful both the Charon and Vespid are based on conversions I've seen before, just with my own adaptations. The Vespid was based on a very similar idea to use the classic tyranid warriors, but I used the legs of a handful of old Raptors I had in my bitz box for the arms (along with the K'nib multilauncher). As one of three races I created (along with the Omicron and Telchine), the Charon imagery has been something I've been wrestling with since the old old old Conclave when they were first conceived. He (it?) was based on a cultist/daemonhost conversion I'd seen based on a cutdown Nightbringer, just with a few other pieces (classic daemon prince arms and broodlord hands).

As for the Earl and Marquis, they were cobble-togethers. Afterall, Project Coelacanth was an idea to use every part only once (and barring about five pieces I've stuck to this principle), so they were constructed from random parts that I had no plans for. The marquis is actually more in proportion than the photo depicts, and as for the Earl, I may look to add more details later.
