Hi!

I'm looking for someone to share in an adventure!

I'm a 3d modeller and model maker and I have some spare time too. Recently I've made some 54mm (and other) scale weapons and I'm looking for someone who is interested about these weapons (and later maybe about much more) and who is also able to make them alive. I could provide the models but all the other work (3d printing, casting, distribution) is yours.

Here are some pictures:

Impressive!

I'm sorry to say that the forum has been a bit slow for a while, so I'm not sure who's around at the moment who'd be able to work with your designs, but they're very faithful renders and the chainsword is particularly cool.

Other than weapons, what do you work on?
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Thanks! :)

In 54mm I've started working first on weapons to get the scale. I'm planning to make some "released" weapons first, then later maybe some unreleased weapons, and then some variants.

Beside the weapons now I'm working on a servo skull, and later maybe a cyber mastiff. But anything that could be interesting.

I'd certainly be interested in some more 54mm 40k weapons, but I'm not sure you'll find what you're looking for on these forums. Might be better off at CoolMiniorNot or Warseer to ask for casting buddies? When you've got some in the pipeline, I'll sure as heck put some orders in.

What I'd really like to see is some more standard gun variants - stub automatics, laspistols, shotguns etc, but with serious 40k flavour (chunky!)

I have to admit that I suggested Miniman visiting this forum after discussing some plans.
The idea came from reading the "project restore 54mm" thread (and ebay prices, of course)

We plan to finance one or two weapon packs ourselves, as we can make the whole thing (3d printing, moulding etc) happen, and then if there's any interest (if we can sell as much as needed for the next thing), we move on to more projects.

At first we try making some long needed boosters (servo skulls, chainswords), and then some figures too
One of them is a bald, robed figure that could be used as a servitor/cultist, the other is a bodygloved figure that can be converted to any of the assassins. In any case we want to keep it simple as most of You convert them anyway.

So if You're intereseted in weapon packs, let's discuss here the actual contents and we'll deliver

Lord Borak

LAS weapons - especially pistols but a Hell Gun would be awesome too! Some generic Autogun style weapons would be very much handy as well. Maybe even with separate clips so you can do drum or belt fed weapons.

A chainsword would be nice, especially the one pictured above.

Just as I thought - I'm getting tired of those bendy rifles from the original booster, and creating another chainsword again and again is a pain (but our new Lord Borak managed to do it very nicely, I'll have to try myself:)

Lord Borak

I did??? Oh, the one made from Ork Choppas? Hardly a complicated conversion for someone with your skills :P

Wait a minute..... your 'new' Lord Borak.......... what happened to your 'old' Lord Borak? Or do I not want to find out?

KaptiDavy

Well, I wouldn't suggest that the one greeted yesterday was a simulacrum, but strange to hear there was an older one...  ;)

The double choppa thing is an old idea, but I've rarely seen it done with your precision, hence my enthusiasm

I'd second requests for generic guns - rifles and pistols alike. Sort of like what Zinge miniatures produce, but more 40k. Chunkier, grittier and less obviously modern pistol equivalents. I can pull up images from some source books if you were interested?

That would be nice for a start:)

it might be a bit fiddly and crazy to do but it might be fun if you took a look at the revised armoury and tried to produce some stuff from that? so for example you could make multiple part lasguns! :) this would allow for some serious weapon tailoring on our models
