Okay, mostly I don't use 28mm for Inquisitor. However, it does come in handy as a quick way to introduce friends or people not familiar with it (plus when they see how gorgeous the 54mm versions are, they get more attracted to that style as they've already gotten into the 28mm version), and it's easy for me to throw together a large game involving zombies or genestealers, as I've got plenty of them thrown together from spares, or old starter sets respectively (the zombies one is a fun one involving a number of nurgle magii).

Sadly I don't have the full set of zombies, nurgle magi, or 'stealers with me, but I do have my warband(s?) with me.

I got lucky with a Gideon Lorr model (I'm planning on finishing his paint scheme soon),
the Bertha Bestraufrung (sp?) model is an easy conversion using a necromunda laspistol hand.
Obviously outside of that, everyone is vanilla models, with paintschemes.
The two on the left are from reaper (I think?), and I'm planning on them being a rogue trader (laspistol, hidden dagger, and some gubbins) and, uh, crewwoman (autogun?, tools, gubbins, not much else).

I could split them up into three groups of two.

Inquisitor and Interrogator Bertha (not the final name)
Magos and mercenary with bolt pistol
Rogue trader plus crew/bodyguard?

Or just leave them as a big group and buy an arvus lighter for their transport to/from the RT's ship (I really like the Arvus).
Yes I *could* use a valk (I have several) but it doesn't feel right for my style of Inquisitor warbands.

Thoughts?

P.S.
I threw together some sheets for some of these a long while back, but I never re-wrote them properly, and I'm not sure where I stored them (if at all)

EDIT:
I have a set of 4 servitors also, (two normal, two heavy bolter) which I could add to the Magos and split him off to form his own warband.
They used to be with my space marine techmarine, but I don't field him that way anymore making them pointless - unless I use them in 28mm Inquisitor I guess?

Nice variety with these miniatures! I will say, the cutout around the cleavage of that one miniature is a little ridiculous, but you can't well be blamed for that :)

Looking forward to seeing how these develop, hopefully your pals take the the 54mm minis when you introduce them!

Lord Borak

A nice collection of models there mate. I'm pretty sure the girl with the cleavage/bandy legs is a Necromunda Bounty Hunter. It's a god awful model in my opinion but you've made a good job of it! The rest of the team have loads of character.

Keep up the good work. I think I have two of those Gideon models somewhere  :-\

Cheers.
As per the above, now that I've dug out those 4 old 40k servitors, I'm tempted to split off the admech into his own band with them instead (the servitors would doubtless be very slow, and very low mental stats, but be completely braindead to any mind altering stuff like fear etc. Kind of the only way to offset two of them carrying heavy bolters.
The other two are pretty much weaponless, though their tool arms could be repurposed as close combat weaponry I guess?

I've also dug out an old sentinel pilot model - he's injured and crouched down carrying a laspistol. Not sure whether he could be a character, an objective, or what (both?).
Good mook material I guess.

EDIT:
And yes, it's the female necromunda bounty hunter model - not one of the better minis in the set - I'm tempted to at least paint the leg and/or stomach area in green to show some sort of clothes under what she's wearing (I first painted her around the start of university, which is nearly 10 years ago now, so she might be due an update).
I like her more for the pose, and her ridiculous hair.

I'd show images of the servitors and imperial pilot, but I broke imgur when I uploaded them, so that'll have to wait  :-\

Oh, they finally unbroke themselves.

I really need to get started on painting, but I've got a backlog of miniatures from other games that I need to rapidly build and then box up to clear the space on my desk for painting.
I really want to get these, and 4 54mm projects painted soon though.

As far as servitors go, I've always been a big fan of the minis. I actually think they're a great example of pieces that can be totally re-purposed in the Inquisitor context. They can make a great basis for lower-tier tech priests, skitarri, enhanced flunkies, or simple civilians. There's nothing inherently "lobotomized" about them so they're pretty flexible. If your heart is set on having sevitors in the warband go for it, but give some thought to converting them and adding some more interesting characters to the group.
