Could be worse though, they could be the Celestial Lions who's Chapter Command was killed by "Ork Snipers"

I don't honestly think any chapter has it worse than the Lamenters.
The Lions were legitimately screwed over by a bunch of jerks.
the Lamenters are regularly screwed over by jerks, fate, tzeentch, etc.

Nice work on a difficult colour scheme for the armour . I feel though that the large gun is all largely the same tone and could do with some spot colours to break it up.

I have since replaced the base with a larger 60mm one as shown below.
