Realitybytes' modelling thread.
« on: November 29, 2017, 09:31:35 PM »
Well hi all!

After years of lurking, collecting parts and thinking about warbands I could build, I'm starting to actually put some things together. Just quickly I'd like to thank RobSkib, greenstuff_gav and everyone else I met at the Mother of Mercy event for genuinely making it the most fun tabletop gaming experience I'd ever had and for helping me lose my Inquisitor virginity (special thanks for Rob for arranging the whole thing and to Gav for giving me a lift and providing me with a warband for the day ;D). I don't know how to embed pics yet, and even if I did what I have so far is mostly in the VERY early stages, but here's a brief rundown of what I've currently got planned:

- A stock Eisenhorn, who is not too far from being done.
- A stock Cherubael, because I love the Eisenhorn books and seeing these two as a pair would bring some red back into my grey little heart.
- My first proper Inquisitor warband, comprised of (probably) 4 individuals.

I should really get to assembling Cherubael as that really shouldn't be too hard. Modelling sessions are fairly sporadic at the moment because it's assessment time at university and I also have the ol' Seasonal Affective Disorder to contend with, so I'm slightly short on both time and motivation. I am hoping that starting this topic will help with the latter though. If someone could be kind enough as to explain to me how to embed pics (^^') I'll post WIP shots on my next modelling session.

Sorry for the essay, the SAD has got me in word-vomit mode ^^'.
