Very much so. In fact, thats Inspirational, I hadn't thought of using the scout sniper rifle.

got a shot of it from the rear? It might need a sling to make it perfect. How is he carrying it?

rather than use a sling(very 20th century) there is a small strap on devlins left shoulder, which has a magnettic attachment. much more 41st.

I very much like the work here. the head swap looks very natural and the painting is great. The rifle is a nice Idea but I can't help but think the stock is too small. I'd suggest replacing/ lengthening it.

take your point adam. thinking along the lines of removing the stock all together? long barreled sniper pistol anyone?

The head looks big in the first picture but I think its more the angle.
Cut the stock off and fit a telescopic or folding one.

your other option would be to add a bigger mag and shorten the barrel a little and have a silenced/scoped sub machine pistol.
