I'm 25 and have played 40k Since my 8th Birthday. When Inquisitor came out I bought 3 models (Artemis, Barberetta and Thrax) and converted a warhammer giant into an ogryn. I played one game against a Guy I met in a GW store and that was it. Now I've unpacked my models and am in the process of ebaying myself enough component parts to turn them into warbands. One Mechanicus, One young daring Inquisitor, one Eisenhorn and one chaos cult.. for now.

I'm pleased to have found this forum to share my passion and progress with. Looking forward to being able to connect and play some campaigns aswell.

If anyone is selling any casted items please point me in the right direction. I have a limited range of pieces and money and green stuff skills!
I've only found 'Skyfall' on here and there doesnt seem to be much activity or pics or a website or feedback??

I'll start a modelling thread and post my work there.

Now that the traditional greeting is out of the way, let me address your queery vis-a-vis model parts;

Hello! Regarding your desire to find people to play with, you'll find that your local GW probably isn't very keen on lending their gaming tables to Specialist Games.

However, there is some good news - you said you live (or at least, will live) near Chalk Farm - which puts you pretty near St Pancras (if my geography is correct). That's a very easy route up to Nottingham and Warhammer World, where we play a lot of our events.

We've actually got one on December 1st, if you're interested on any level - be it simply spectating or actually joining in.
(If you won't have any models ready, you can probably ask around here and see if anyone's willing to lend a warband. People usually are - I'd offer to lend one myself, but I'm running the event and a lot of my collection has been roped into serving as NPCs for the day.)

Next reasonably confirmed one after that is March next year, the Grand Tournament. Which is a bit of a misnomer, it's not actually very competitive.
