I knew my old computer was rubbish but it shouldn't take forty minutes to upload five pictures. By the the Throne, that was painful, very, very painful.
Anyway, I'm only putting one picture up of the three I have for this gasmask head because of the slowness of my computer and becasue it isn't actually finished but whatever. It's based on an old Ian Miller sketch which is why it looks so strange and I'm in two minds about taking off the organic looking sections on the helmet. Overall I'm about 75% pleased with how it's turned out.

just kidding, nice work!
lol, what the hell is that thing, some old Doctor Who monster? It has a resemblance :D
Thanks for the comments.
From Star Wars you heathen! :P Bounty hunter after Han Solo I think.
I like it a lot, kind of inhuman looking and therefore a bit scary...

I... I'm feeling a bit dizzy. I just need to go sit down over there for a minute...
....
Okay. Nice work! I dunno if I've seen the source material before, and I'm sorry to say the name Ian Miller doesn't spark many memories, but it's full of that barrel-aged vintage 40K flavour. And that's why I think you shouldn't get rid of the organic-style sections, either.
Star Wars would have been my second guess, I'm not much of a fan of the franchise.
Ian Miller used to a lot of artwork for GW back in the day but the sketch is actually from a set of concepts he drew for the graphic novel version of James Herbert's The City.
I'm glad the organic style doesn't look too out of place as there's a few tiny details yet to do.
Stunning and very creepy to boot! Great stuff, I reckon your or PO to win IMHO.
Except mine isn't finished so that's probably a disqualification right there.
Thanks for the comments though :D
Okay, so I finally managed to get this old computer to put pictures on photobucket in a way that doesn't take the best part of an hour! I didn't have the stamina to get the rebreather I'd done into this thread last time so there's that and four all round shots of the head. The rebreather still needs some GS just to hide some joins.

Not the picture I worked from but you get the gist.

The skulls on the rebreather are fantastic and are a lovely little touch, great stuff.
They started off as just rounded bumps on the end and I was looking at it and thought to myself, some skulls would look nice on there. One is a little bigger than the other but they look okay.
Aaah... that Ian Miller. ;D
To be nitpicky, the edges of the plasticard disc look a little rougher in the new pics. But this is still my favourite of the gasmask challenge.
Yes, it isn't quite circular is it, I'll have to give it a gentle filing.
