So this little thing popped up on GWs site earlier today then disappear soon after.

So... I can't help looking at this and thinking; chop off the wings and engines, whack on a set of big chunky wheels, change the hull and turret weapons for something a bit beafier (like, say Yneks heavy bolters (http://www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1119.0)), paint the windows blacked-out and BLAMO!
Instant all-terrain goon vehicle for Inquisitor 8)
Reading the Warseer thread, it seems very "Marmite" - and I have to say I'm in the unimpressed category.
Top Gear's Reliant Robin Space Shuttle made a more convincing aircraft.
It might work for what you say, but that's about the only way I could see it looking at least vaguely plausible.
Humm...I have to agree with Marco. Given GW's strange idea about vehicle scale (how many terminators in a Land Raider?) this looks to be very much following the trend, but....what happened? Looks like someone confused the working up sketches and they picked one of the first doodles. I hope this isn't the beginning of a creeping return to the early ''classic'' day-glo comedy 40k - which I found absolutely revolting and wanted nothing to do with.
I do however think that it's probably going to be useful for a serious kit bash, some of those forms and the engine details look like they might make a nice basis for the scratch lighter or ship to shore shuttle I've abandoned a couple of times to date.
I quite like it, its very reminiscent of the ornithopters from Minority Report. I can easily see these as 1 to 2 man Arbitrator pursuit vehicles for INQ with a little work.
well they make a kit whioch is perfectly suited for the demolition derby but then they go an put blood angels in it, can't they do anything right?
Wow, that thing is... something....

The halberd for the Librarian dreadnought is going to be popular with 54mm hobbyists, I suspect.

My my yes, that is nice looking. quite beefy looking mind you, more nemesis force halberd for a Grey Knight than an ordinary man.
