Title: 54mm scale cat? Or even a Lynx?
Post by: axiom on January 06, 2011, 11:37:11 PM
Hi guys, I'm looking to get hold of a 54mm scale cat or preferably a Lynx to represent a Gyrinx for my Eldar warband. The unreleased 40k model looks like this:

So far most things have been off scale (Schleich's stuff is too big, 28mm is too small), and I can't find any actually produced in 54mm. Any suggestions?

Thanks :)

I used a 28mm GW cat as my astropath's (http://www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1133.0) familiar which works okay at 54mm.  Also, Andrea (http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxproductdetail.php?ProductCode=SGA40) sell 54mm cats.

Thanks for the suggestions. What is useful to see is that a 28mm cat looks fine against a 54mm figure - I may look further at that.

@ greenstuff_gav: if only I had plans for Rose, I'd go for it. Otherwise it seems pricey for a cat!
