Title: Psyker and Bounty Hunter
Post by: kierkegaard on March 14, 2011, 05:10:37 PM
My most recently painted models, both experiments with more extreme colour schemes.

The Psyker, with a force rod and laspistol.

The Bounty Hunter, with web pistol and needle pistol.

I hope you like them.

Loving the beard... And the sculpted inner robe on the Psyker inspires me to improve my rough job on my Rogue Trader... The two different but very similar torsos, they're both from the GW Bounty Hunter, yes? Is one converted?

Very cool mate. I love how individual they look whilst having at least a similar construction. THe needle pistol is great. The side shots of the bounty hunter are excellent.

Psyker's got a really serious look to him.  A touch flamboyant by the standards of imperial psykers maybe, but a bit of flair doesn't hurt (the model that is.  It may well hurt the psyker in question).  Liking the force rod, really nicely put together.

Mean looking bounty hunter too.

What have you used for the legs?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm glad that the weapons are popular. The web pistol and needle pistol are based on pictures from the 2nd Edition Wargear book and the Necromunda Rulebook. The force rod is just the hand and handle from Von Castellan, with a bit of the handle from the sword that comes with the Force Weapons booster pack (I got one in an ebay job-lot that was badly damaged, so I salvaged the handle.)

DA - They both have the Bounty Hunter model's torso. The Psyker's torso has had no modifications to it, but the Bounty Hunter has had the fastenings and collar decorations removed, and the coat has been extended with green stuff.

Necris - The Bounty Hunter model has the legs and torso from the original model, but the boots have been altered a bit and the extended jacket covers a lot of the rest of the detail. The psyker has Eisenhorn's legs, but they have been heavily modified with green stuff.
