I was also intrigued by the Gundam range and was trying to find a European distributor, but without much luck in finding the Hardgraph range. I did find the following Maschinen Krieger range in 1/35th, some of which look quite interesting, if a tad pricey.

I did manage to find a guy on E-Bay selling the Melusine action figures for £5

Yeah, this guy is presumably splitting a box at a sort of reasonable mark up (400%, but hell its only a fiver); you get a random (ish) model from the assortment he has left - you can specify a colour or if you want an open hatch - otherwise he just picks one.
Edit: If I like the one I get, I may order a box from Japan and would be willing to *cough* distribute them to interested parties for postage or put them up on the (foully inconvienient) ASR.
1.10 each isn't bad, and if you get the right kind of shipping it might be cheaper and you'll get all the varients. HLJ is a great place to buy from!
I've not been around for a good year or two, so I don't know if the issue has been settled, ignored or left as an agreement to disagree, but:
I've yet to see a decent quality sci-fi modelling company that makes models that fit with the aesthetic of 40K.
Those do look cool, but I don't think the style would fit all that well alongside the GW range - as alien or seccessionist technology, perhaps, I guess.
Or Demiurge.
