Title: Lucius Aurelius' WIP
Post by: Lucius Aurelius on July 13, 2011, 11:47:21 AM
hi i have only recently got into Inq with a few of my friends who are on the conclave (Damon and Andreas).  i would like to get peoples' opinions and advice about my models.  my actual Inq is in the post but here are some of his retinue.
first up is Ghost, he is a seasoned marksman.

Finally, here is a mutant called Thrugg. He is my first major conversion.

I love Thrugg. He looks even better in the flesh :)

He's great fun to play with too. In his first game which I GMed he got confused and spent most of the game wandering around the dark forest trying to finds his master. Then crashed into a tree knocking it over before charging into a daemonhost and mutilating it with his massive sword  :P

That's pound for pound one of the best Necromunda-style mutants I've seen at 54mm, and so simple at that. I'm constantly surprised at the new yet obvious (in retrospect) combinations that people put together on the Conclave. Good work!

thanks Alyster Wick,
Thrugg started out as a lord of the rings cave troll, i then moulded a ogre kingdoms head and right arm.  the custom knuckle duster however is just a spare part i found in a bitz box, which i tied on with green stuff.

I think it's from the Clan Eshin/Mordehim Skaven plastic kit.

Perhaps if it were at 28mm but I'd put money that it's part of a 40K ork power-klaw based on the fact that I considered using the exact same part for something similar. The "thumb" section of the claw is already attached to the arm but the two "fingers" come separately and I believe that's what the clawed knuckle duster is made of.

You're correct Alyster Wick. He raided that part from my bitbox and it is part of the ork power claw.
