So as I said earlier, I had two more conversions that were not finished yet and tonight on the eve of my return to Inquisitor I was inspired to finish them. The first of which is my arco-flagellant. I used Damien's body and cut the whips off. I replaced his one arm with an ork power claw and then on the right I used the K'nib multi-launcher from the Kroot model. I had to file down the kroot arm until it fit onto the body, not too difficult. I know they don't shoot very well, but a weapon that the rate of fire is based on the user's toughness sounded pretty cool. Especially when you can boost his toughness with stimms! He won't hit anything but sure will spray rounds everywhere. I haven't written up the character sheet for him yet, so still tracking down rules to make him an interesting character. Here he is with a primer coat on.

The second figure I finished out was my demonhost. From the first time I saw the model I always thought he looked as if he should be swooping down from somewhere up high on ethereal wings, so instead I added the old metal Pegasus wings from GW. I like the way it turned out, pretty dynamic I feel. I haven't decided on a paint scheme yet, but was thinking about working from a pink/purple up to a pale white for skin tone. My character idea is for him to have very controlling psychic abilities and not really overtly offensive. More subtlety than sheer killing power. Anyway that's for another thread. I like the Daemon host (although dragon wings might be more appropriate!), it reminds me of Gav Thorpe's Loa Gorg model. I'm not sure giving an arco-flagellant a gun (even a weird one) is a good idea as they normally have a very low BS.
You'll also need to write into the background how the arco was given the weapon. I'm pretty sure most Adeptus Mechanicus would class implanting an alien weapon as heresy (to say nothing of the ecclesiarchy!).
That is true. I was not thinking too much of his original origin... I was thinking it would have been done by the inquisitor. I will have to delve deep to make sense of it. Maybe his previous arm was destroyed and that is when it was replaced? I don't know I will think about it. Yes his BS will be low but that will make it fun!
