Hello, I'm Prince Hal.
I've been a fan of the 40k universe for near five years when I discovered GW's website while surfing the web. It wasn't until three years ago I discovered Inquisitor. But, due to no one in the area playing, I stopped and continued my 40k interest elsewhere. Than, the Inquisition came and I was interested again.
I rekindled my interest in Inquisitor thanks to Inq28 modelists such as Molotov and Keravin and many others - those are just the two that spring to mind automatically. ;)
I joined up here because, as I said, I'm re-interested in Inquisitor; not to mention a little dissatisfied with the 40k game in general. I joined the hobby community so I could tell stories and Inquisitor seems a far better tool for doing just that.
I'm already preparing for the Long War for the Emperor's soul; I just need to build the two warbands kicking around in my head!
Anywho, enough rambling! I just thought I'd pop in and say hello! ;D
Welcome to the Conclave!
/Traditional Big Yellow Welcome :D
We hope you enjoy your stay here! We're excited to see what you'll add to our little community. Post up some ideas and stats for your various warbands in the Rules and Discussion forum, and we'd love to see some pictures of your models when they're finished in the Painting and Modelling section!
Otherwise, we have plenty of other things for you to get involved in;
- We have the Carthax Wiki (http://carthax.wikispaces.com/) which is the unofficial Conclave wiki, with various characters, locations and rules articles to help you get started.
- There is also Dark Magenta (http://darkmagenta.co.uk/), the fanzine about the Inquisitor hobby, all put together by volunteers writing in their own time.
- Finally, there is the various Conclave gatherings at Warhammer World in Nottingham, usually twice a year, including the 54mm version here (http://www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1405.0), as well as Molotov's 28mm Inqvitational (I don't have a link I'm afraid, hopefully someone can help me out here).
Glad to have you aboard!
Thanks for the warm welcome! ;D
I will definitely check out those helpful links and post up my characters and ideas once school cools down a bit! I just got back from Thanksgiving Break (I'm an American), and the teachers are getting ready for finals and all that so I'm a bit stressed.
