Title: Manchester Game 17th/18th of September
Post by: Adlan on September 11, 2009, 09:23:10 PM
Me and Kaled are planning a Game in Manchester on the evening of the 17th or the evening and afternoon of the 18th of September. Is anyone interested?

So what do you think - Thursday or Friday?  What time is the store open on those nights?

I'm not certain, I'll go in tommorow and find out.

Okay - we'll pick a day once we know how much gaming time we'll have.

They are Open till 9 on Thursday, and 6 on Friday.

But, Fridays are pretty quiet, no other games being run, while on thursday, there's some other specialist games night (I think Epic).

Fridays seems the best bet to me.

Okay, Friday it is then.  I'll probably drive down straight from work, so can be there from about 1:30 - does that work for you?

So, no one else tempted to join us?

Sounds good to me.

I would  ;D

But no one knows who I am or what characters I have or anything else because I usually end up getting distracted by the lots of other things I need to do (or, more probable... I'm just lazy).

I also don't know where to go  :-X

Well, if you turn up with Inquisitor models then I'm sure we'll find you!

Cool, so there'll be at least three of us.  If anyone else is interested in having a game, but doesn't have models then let me know and I can bring a few spares.  As it is, I'll probably bring my Explorator warband (so I have a few characters to choose from) and their Arvus.

I'll probably turn up 10-15 minutes after 1:30.  The bus stops appear to be very conveniently close by.

Not sure who to bring though, got a while to think though.

Well, I'm all set for this afternoon - my best estimate for when I'll arrive is 1:30, but I've never driven into Manchester on a Friday lunchtime before, so it's possible I'll be a touch later than that...

I'll just be there all day. I have some models to work on.

He was cool though. Definitely a win for style points.

Good to see you both yesterday - they were a fun couple of games.  We'll have to arrange a rematch soon.

I'm looking forwards to seeing the rest of Mike's collection - based on the few we saw yesterday it sounds like it's rather good.
