Title: new 40k objectives
Post by: greenstuff_gav on August 03, 2012, 09:42:51 PM
so, i picked up one of the new 40k dice sets (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440161a&prodId=prod1620018a) yesterday (yay! triple helix's 10% discount) 'cause the dice themselves are quite nice and mechanicus-y and thought the servo-skulls'd make nice objective markers for some inquisitor scenarios i'm writing :)

being the pic-friendly-guy what i is, here's a scale shot :)

simple drybrushed metals, i may try repainting a set to see how they come out...

I must say that the skulls look very cute, only a bit large.

I was thinking of using them as more industrial servo skulls hence the shelf for carrying things.

Since most servo-skull are made from human ones.  These could be from Ogryn.  ;)

That's a good point, actually. Maybe even SM heroes' skinned caputs. :-P
