Can anyone recommend an elegant looking scabbarded sword for a noble looking 54mm character? I would prefer a rapier over a claymore, and wouldn't be averse to something exotic such as a scimitar. I don't mind what manufacturer or range it comes from, and I'm happy to buy a whole model for the right weapon if I can't source it as a separate bit.
Any and all suggestions welcome.

The sword from the Nocturna model 'The archer' available from Historex agents might be suitable-http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxproductdetail.php?ProductCode=HL13 (http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxproductdetail.php?ProductCode=HL13).
It comes as a seperate piece from the rest of the model, and while not quite a rapier is considerably more slender than the average inquisitor sword. One drawback though is that being resin it is somewhat brittle.

Kal Jericho's Sword. It's slender with a scabbard and a basket hilt. Unfortunately, it's hard to come by. But the good folks over at

That model has a rather nice scabbard and sword (and, of course, you can just snip the hilt off and stick it to the scabbard)
tad pricey, but worth it
Thanks for the suggestions. As it turned out, I did actually have a scabbarded sword from Kal Jerico in the bottom of my bits box! Happened upon it while searching for kit to deck out another model entirely.
Having a kilo of loose Inquisitor parts can be very handy sometimes...

Gotta love it when that happens! It's like when you pull your coat out of the closet and find a hundred dollar bill in the pocket you lost last
winter. ;D
