Okay, so this will be the last installment of my new found old warband members. All three are complete, only one is painted, and one (the daemon host) refuses to submit to a decent photo:
A Heresy Miniatures hellhound:

SGT Stone with a flamer:

And a barely-under-control Khorne Daemonhost:

Other angles of the daemonhost turned out poorly regardless of flash or background. He has an old Khorne Daemonprince head with one horn cut off and capped with brass. The wings are also old daemon prince (vintage 1990's). The white things around his neck are Khorne symbols that have replaced the locks that were on the stock model.
Biggest question: Is Stone's flamer too over the top/large?
General question: What do you think? I'm open to modifying these miniatures as I refurb my warbands.
I'd want more shots of Stone from different angles to conclusively say if I thought it worked. Difficult to say at the moment.
There's a shot from the model's left in Kaludram's schola progenium thread (would link if I could remember how).
To my eye, the flamer looks too heavy to be held the way it is. A stock tucked beneath his armpit and a shoulder strap might be enough to fix it though. Or you could move the fuel tanks to his back and shorten the flamer until the front grip rests in his left hand. But I'd try the easier option first :)

The side shot of Stone is here (http://www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2100.0) and shows him cradling the tank with his left hand to support the forend of the flamer. I don't want to put the tanks on the back because I found an awesome fit between a strap on Stone's back and Artemis' grenade belt--allowing this guy to pack three grenades along with his flamer and making him my walking destructobomb. ;D
The stock under the arm and shoulder strap idea is good....I shall have to work on that. Thanks for the feedback.
