so, one of the regulars at Triple Helix gave me a plastic Tauriel figure from a new range of collectable plastic toys and i remarked how close to 54mm they are :D

she's slightly large but suitable for an Eldar :D
the paint is rather heavy, but i've tried Nail Polish Remover, White Spirits and Biostrip to no avail :(
Gonna try Nitro Mors and if that fails, just gonna paint over and hopefully can keep it thin enough :)
I was wondering whether they would make some for 'the Hobbit' they had a set for the LOTR releases I have a Gandalf figurine of the same variety which I plan to convert. They are slightly large but they should all make good bases.
