As I started this project LAST YEAR I feel that I should re-post. Here is a rough out line.
Inquisitor Q. Murtan:
Age: 225
Juviant Age: 73
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Grey (Formerly Brown)
Skin tone: White
Philosophy: Puritan-Ecclesiarchal/True-Amalatian
Void born to pilgrim and her Free Captain lover, bound for the shrine world of Macharia circa 774m41, Murtan was destined for a life of devotion to the Emperor. As a pilgrim's son he soon developed reading and writing skills from his formerly wealthy and educated pilgrim mother Lutessia, as well a keen ship sense from his father Merik, though by that time his parents fling was over.
As he grew it was obvious that Young Quintus was gifted at speech and was a devout young man. Often gathering his ship bound friends and reading hastley copied notes from the ships "Morning" Service.
While skilled at remembering his lessons in faith, he was adventuress and often explored the ship against his Father's advice and his Mother's wishes. Much to his amusement and her anger. He later joined the Clergy of Macharia after his mother's second Pilgrimage.
It was this adventuressness that eventually led to him being singled out of Missionary service at the age of 37 by the local Macharian clergy.
As his first assignment he was sent to the frontier world of Soloman's Retreat on the fringes of the Imperial-Tau Border. Discovered by Soloman Kinesgrove about 427 years before The Retreat was little more then a hodge podge of settlements filled with settler's Warp bent on what they perceived as "Freedom".
Knowing that such a concept was a lie and not afraid to share the fact, Quintus was very much despised by the locals as an unwanted authority figure. Still, his faith and perseverance did win over some and by his 49th year had a well established flock.
During this time The Retreat was undergoing political upheaval. The Governor had passed and it fell to his two sons. Both twins. With little more than a few minutes separating the two their was great debate as to who should rule. There were dark rumors that one or both had had contact with mercs and even that the few minutes elder had dabbled in the procuring dark artifacts. This last rumor of course drew the attention of the Ordo Malleus and Inquisitor Gregorious Valak was sent.
Of course loath to rely on the local PDF Valak instead chose his allies carefully. Choosing a big game hunter by the name of Jon Fortheim, Valak also conscripted Quintus for his skill with the Emperor's word.
While the rumors proved unfounded Valak was impress by both his new henchmen, especially Quintus's diplomatic but firm way of investigation. A method that got results, with both of the governor's sons. As well as Selous's tracking ability. He asked both to stay on. The two became good friends. Working with the eccentric Valak was a chore, and an uneasy one. The Truth about their mentor would not be known untill later however.
With years of missions under his belt, albeit the "minor" chores of an acolyte, Quintus was granted full Inquisitorial status at age 77. He would later come to be his mentor's arch rival, after discovering Valak's interest of chaotic weaponry and it's recovery rather than it's distruction.

Jon Fortheim:
Age: 217
Juviant Age: 65
Eye Color: Grey
Hair Color: Blonde
Skin Tone: White
Homeworld: Pyran
Philosophy: Amalathian
Born on Pyran Circa 782M41 a baby Fortheim was brought to The Retreat circa 788M41 buy his, single, Ex-PDF father Rafe. Rafe had become an adventurer by trade after his retirement and brought his servants and bodyguards with him on his venture to Soloman's Retreat. Though Reafe was considered a hard man by some was was a fair father, teaching his son to track, shoot and spot a good business for the taking.
These skills world serve him well as Jon grew older. Establishing his hunting and trade business, Jon soon has set himself up as a necessity to frontier living.
It was during this time in his early 40s that Jon met Inquisitor Valak. Valak, chaseing down rumors of an chaotic weapons trade ring tied to the passed Governor's sons, required a sharp shooter of great skill to track and hunt on the plains. Also to serve as fore support of course.
Valak had had little luck with the locals who were stubborn and had little interest in serving an offworlder, let alone they saw some one they saw as a terror on their lives. However fortheim offered his service to Valak at half price. His father had instilled a sense duty in the man to the Imperium. Valak put Jon to the test by having him soot coins from 60, then 70 yards. Much to the Inquisitor's surprise the man shot 9 out of ten a 60 yards and 7 out of ten a 70 yards.
Hiring the man on the spot Valak had his sharpshooter, soon he would have a preacher to boot. His name was Murtan and he and Fortheim became fast friends during the inquisitor's search. Moutan's way with words and Fortheim's relaxed demenor was a good paring and the two were often seen working in tandem.
After Valak's mission was over the two were asked to stay on. Reluctent to leave Murtan convinced his friend to hand over the business to Jon's younger brother. With nothing holding him to the Retreat he threw himself at the work that Valak and then Murtan gave him with his usual relaxed and cool headedness.
After seeing his own eye ripped out he has since been even more cautious in his duties. All ways taking his time. Making sure everything is just right. An attitude that Murtan approves of.

Skills: Quickload, Rock Steady aim
Equipment: Flak armour on abdomen, Auspex, Bio-scanner, Cyber-mastiff with Motion-Tracker
Weapons, Hunting rifle with 2 reloads, Navy revolver with 2 reloads, Power knife
First impression on stats is you need more variety in the second digit. Way too many 60s for example. I would say the WS could do with going up. If he's a tracker then either he or the mastiff need auspex or more.
Good advice thanks! :D
