well it's turning out to be quite busy for commissions for me these days!
one of my oldest (timewise) friends came to me the other day, after watching us play Inquisitor, and asked about getting a small crew together' he's fedup with massive games and liked the look of more RPG-esk games.
I was talking about making up characters and he wanted a crazy loony; sorta chap who's gonna be all over the place and not necessarily on the same page as everyone else...
a quick rummage in the bits box gave me;

the head was copied from Lord Borak; i've never used Stone and loved his crazed pit fighter!
inspired by a story regarding Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow costume, i grabbed a load of random junk and threw together a Bag O' Crap; a friend once came up with a big bag of stuff for a guard character and i liked the idea this guy picks up all manner of junk!
now such an unpredictable character is not suitable as a one-man crew; a bad turn of mania and the game'd get boring very quick, so Grimsby needed a character who could be relied on.
Taking inspiration from my own Inquisitor Hymunin, Tyrus had some chopwork done...

Still WIP, but i took inspiration from Grimsbys' own characters, in Dark Heresy and his 40k armies, he favours twin hammers and so i knew it was a must for this tank of an inquisitor!
some generic 40k-esk icons and Von Castellans' epaulettes (i appear to have a literal dozen sets of these!) gives a suitably imposing character!
i'm still tidying up but have thrown together some basic statlines and will be checking with GRimsby to see what he thinks! :)

;D
Love the models Gav. I'm seriously envious of how much 54mm stuff you have. The crazed gunner looks quite the part. Although, if her were really bonkers, I feel he needs something maybe a little more 'odd'. Maybe a Teddy bear, a Doll or something...... The Inquisitor looks like he means business although his shoulders must be very wide indeed to fit into that armour.
What a tank! The dual hammers and the pose really suggest a do not mess with me attitude.
The guardsman has come together well too. I like the added gubbins.

Maybe a Teddy bear,
that's the black thing poking out the top; lil teddy bear a friend rapid prototyped for his Malifaux :)
i like to have an idea of a character before i start assembly and just thought to myself "beefy no-nonsense smack to the face"; will be represented with the statline (as the background is a bit loose) :)

Sounds like an Earthworm Jim character!! Awesome work on the teddy bear, I missed that!
Arms on the power-armored guy look odd, probably because of the positioning with the shoulders. That's not really your fault though, Tyrus was always a poorly conceived model. He'll certainly be an intimidating figure with those hammers.
The guardsmen looks great. Fantastic use of parts there.
The mad guy is...really mad looking! The whole concept is just brilliant and very inspirational, thanks for sharing.
