The older variety is sought as so many recipes use the old type and there don't seem to be many exact matches (I've been badly distracted into character-building and let modelling slip away -- time to get started).
Snakebite Leather, Chaos Black, Skull White, Shining Gold, Boltgun Metal and Chainmail.
Devlan Mud, Gryphonne Sepia, Badab Black.
Also sought: Inquisitor Scarn.
Rather pay you chaps here than a 'stranger'.
Cheers,
''Inquisitor Vale''
Coat d'Arms paints are the same as the old games workshop paints.
This website has a list of the names so you can find the right colours: https://www.hiveworldterra.co.uk/Article/view_CoatDArmsConversionChart.html
Cheers. That's all the paints taken care of unless someone has the oldies -- I did read a rumour to the effect they've gone down in quality but I don't know -- can you weigh in?. The washes still remain as names like 'Flesh Wash' and 'Chestnut Wash' don't really help -- though no fault of yours.
I think the Coat D'Arms washes may be the old shiny inks, not the washes GW replaced them with (which would have been when they first started the Foundation paints)
Badab Black, Devlan Mud and Gryphonne Sepia are however replaced very well by Army Painter's "Dark Tone", "Strong Tone" and "Soft Tone" respectively.
I hope it won't come to blows! ;D Thank you for the help!
