Seeing as I'm forced to re-write everything from scratch, I've been coming up with new stuff as well, including this little bit of twistedness -
Feral Child
In the streets outside the hab-blocks and manufactorums, the Arbitrators enforce their unforgiving rule upon the desperate and the homeless. Feral children fight over the dead flesh of the fallen, their struggles lit only by flickering luminas set into crumbling masonry.
- From the suppressed text, Scions of the Imperium, author excommunicated and incinerated by Inquisitorial Order.
In a society where ones death can come at any time, from within or without, the existence of feral and mutated orphans is inevitable. Abandoned by their families as a cost that cannot be afforded and twisted by the pollution that surrounds them, the lucky join gangs and survive that way. The rest descend from gang life to brute cannibalism, running in packs and feeding off the dead and the weakened. Changed by their diet and the horror of their lives, their fingernails extend into ragged claws, their teeth grow out into vicious fangs and their noses become sensitive to the scent of blood. Such creatures barely resemble the species into which they were born, and form a constant reminder of what could happen to mankind were the Imperium to fall.

The quote is from the 5th Ed. Rulebook (a wonderfully bizzare collection of background material in there!). I'm going to try to make one at some point, wondering about the suitability of the Ghoul models for a basis...
Love this idea. As a character or as roaming packs these feral children would be pretty awesome. I could see them being particularly frightening if put in a scenario where a genestealer is loose in the underhive.
What's that blip on the radar, a rat of unusual size? It isn't big enough to be a genestealer...
If you could find any of the old feral orc minis (dunno if they're still around) I think they'd be a great base for feral children (I think the ghouls would be too spindly). That said, I think any shirtless ork could be given a head swap and make a fantastic feral child. I think ork proportions are about right.
You may like to check out the Ghoul range from Heresy miniatures, which is much more horrible than GW's somewhat more child-friendly version.

I am distinctly disturbed by the little genitals on the Ghoul King... That, right there, is dedication to your craft.
I was thinking they should be spindly and scrawny, not bulked out killing machines, they're slum kids. I've got a pair of Dark Age minis I'm going to look at chopping up for parts, they might work as a base...
I think Bs/Sg 0 is too extreame and that you've penalised Wp and to a lesser extend Ld too much. I'd say 15-25 would fit these stats better.
I don't see how not holding things makes you ambidexterous, they would still favour a hand for fighting etc.
The talons, fangs and enhanced senses speak of mutation, or I suppose evolution in this case, rather than adaptaion.
