I've got this fig. in the post and was probably going to convert her into some sort of 40k figure. Apart from the obvious gunslinger, I think she has the right look for a young, arrogant inquisitor. I'm thinking a Xanthanite who spends her time researching Chaos lore on various hostile worlds outside the imperium (although not a full on daemonhost and daemonsword using nutter) seems to fit. Thus, adding purity seals and perhaps the suggestion of some cybernetics might be an idea, but IDK.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
My suggestion would be to sculpt some decent clothes on to her.
You could fill in the chaps to make baggy pants, the dusters not too far off from a rogue trader coat, maybe wider collar.
Is the right arm/hand separate? 30-0-6 is too cowboy for me.
Add a space marine torso half to her chest for a breast plate, bionic eye, instant bounty hunter!

Not sure, but I believe it's a side-by-side shotgun.
Anyway, if you're referring to lever-action rifles, they're more likely to be chambered in .30-30.
.30-06 is a battle rifle cartridge (think M1 Garand and the BAR, not Winchester lever-action repeaters) which uses a spitzer bullet design and therefore can't be used in tubular magazines (because the tip of the bullet would rest against the primer on the back of the next round, which has the potential to cause the magazine to explode).

Agreed, I'm afraid. Ladies showing their midriff and their inner thighs isn't exactly very 40k.
Lots of cleavage is another matter, but I'd certainly cut down on the rest of the bare skin.

I'm pretty sure that she has trousers on underneath her chaps, but that top makes her look like something out of a modern country and western music video.

I've seen her painted with both trousers or just the nod to modesty that skimpy underwear offers (and that's quite aside from the version of the model sold naked but for the chaps and coat).
Either way, I'd just sculpt over that area and turn them into just trousers. While it's acceptable to incorporate western elements into 40k (see Slick Devlan), it's easily overdone.
1: A better weapon. I suggest something bolt-related, but a hellgun would be a good call, too.
2: Armour, ideally to cover the chest and abdomen.

??? You
have seen the Sisters Repentia, haven't you?
R.
OK. The fig. showed up yesterday.
Thus far, I've extended the shirt withgreenstuff down to her waist and modelled a big ][ shaped rosette below her cleavage, and sculpted a lose gas-mask hung loose around her neck.
I'm probably going to add a few purity seals and possibly a bionic eye or somesuch...
About the gun: it's integral to the figure and going to be a complete nightmare to remove, so (as I happen to quite like it) it's staying.
About the nudieness: the midriff has been covered over. She's got fairly obvious trousers on under the chaps. Armour has *not* been sculpted on because a) I like the look of the model without it- armour would make her look too heavy, IMHO- and b) I'm not sure my sculpting skills are up to it, and I don't want to screw the figure up.

Yes. They show a lot of skin (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1250084_99060108059_WHRepentiamain_873x627.jpg), but the midriff and inside leg are both fairly well covered.
To me, bare skin on a model in any great quantity tends to speak of Slaaneshi cultists. Indeed, I've seen the Repentia used very effectively as Chaos cultists - and I think that says quite a bit about their design.
But I think enough has been said on the matter for now.
