Title: Tool related question Edit - Answered, and updated.
Post by: kierkegaard on May 02, 2010, 06:08:32 PM
I need a new set of files. I was just wondering if anyone has any recomendations. I particularly want a triangular file with a good corner on it (so that it can be used almost as a saw, for filing slots and awkward grooves.)

I looked at Heresy's tools section, and they have some diamond needle files. Does anyone know how good these are?

Assuming they're the same as the ones I bought from them a couple of years ago (they look the same) then I'd say they're a good buy - I certainly have no complaintsa about mine.  They come in a nice variety of shapes, so should be something in there to suit you.

Thanks Dave.

EDIT- I ordered the diamond files from Heresy, and I can fully recommend them for quality. They make my old files seem about as fit for the purpose of filing as a wet fish would be.
