Found this and thought it might make a great combat servitor, or if you covered his body in cog tattoos perhaps a very angry Magos or something of the ilk. Any thoughts?

Also the base is 50mm to give you an approximate scale (I think this is the size of the bottom circle as opposed to the upper one the model actually sits on, though I may be the only one who was confused as to which bit the measurement was taken from:P)

There's alot of potential there. He seems a little far from the human norm to be mechanicus, but rogue mechanicus make for equally good characters ;).
My other thought is he looks like something the dark eldar might build.
Ahhh yeah I completely see the Dark Eldar now you've mentioned it! Well I've ordered it anyway, absolute snap at £11 with £1 postage. Got it from Artemis Black's which has a lot of weird stuff in stock that I can't seem to find being supplied cheap in the Uk anywhere else. Also from what cool mini or not says I think the fancy base is as standard :D
Heres a link http://www.artemisblacks.com/index.shtml and I'll put it in the resource thread too.

Very, very awesome model. Been having a look at the other stuff from Wyrd and it's just awesome! Nice find.
Does anyone have any idea of the basic size of the Wyrd range? Is it 28mm? I'd quite like to use this happy fellow as a Lesser Daemon of Nurgle, but would he be too small?

Any advice appreciated
EDIT - where are my manners today? Thanks very much for the link Shannow - good find!
Wyrd are generally 32mm; the Steamborg would be ok for a familiar :)
will try getting scale pic tonight for 'ee ;D
also, i'd be careful with Artemis Blacks; While Artemis is a really nice guy, by all accounts his MO service leaves alot to be desired (did 1 order with him. by the time it actually arrived i'd forgotten about it and had to find the receipt out before i realised a fair bit of it was wrong...)
Hmm well because coolminiornot said the base was 50mm I thought it would just scrape passable size and be too big for a familiar, though I did guess that the body would need considerable bulking. Look forward to a scale pic though Gav :) I hope to use the legs at least for some creepy crawly mech freak!
Also thanks for the heads up about Artemis I'll report back how my orders goes.
Rob
Well if he does prove to be an unusually small individual this isn't beyond explanation, especially for a dark eldar / twisted mechanicus.
he's this Small;

:)
good for an assistant character, but not a main PC in my opinion :-\
Thanks for that Gav. nice to have some scale :) I see what you mean about the size, though I think I'll have a go at crafting a larger torso to fit the legs, as I think they look an ok size?
Failing that, just have him as a crazy spider-mastiff :P
Thanks again
Rob
It looks to me like you could simply remove the torso and use some other piece, like the Arcoflagellant one... Or robes!
Robes is definitely what I was thinking :P Rogue Magos methinks...Mwahahaha
