Title: Andrea miniatures conan
Post by: mauler19 on August 08, 2010, 04:56:25 PM
hey guys,

been a while since i was last on here and i am thinking about gettin back into INQ. basically i wanted to use the Conan miniature from andrea and replace the sword with the evicerator and add a few 40kish gubbins. however a little while ago i bought the outback avenger model and he is very skinny and i was wondering if this was a trend common with andrea or just that model. any info would be fanstic!

great to be back

CHEERS!

hi there
the thing you gotta remember with GW sculpted minis is that they make em to heroic standards
meaning that the aspects get enlarged to almost silly proportions.
lookn at the conan mini though i guess it could almost pass for GWs sgt stine scale

Although Andrea miniatures don't have the big head/hands/feet/weapons of GW models, they're often quite tall and usually fit rather well alongside GW models. I've never seen the Conan model in the flesh, but the Andrea models I do have worked well as the basis for Inquisitor conversions.
