Title: Sarissa Precisions System ∞

Looks like a nice & potentially useful modular terrain set:

I don't know the exact size of the miniature next to it, but it's larger than a regular 28mm human:

So the size might work out for Inquisitor scale miniatures, if only because it's fairly abstract & scale-neutral in design. For Inq28 it's a good "hard industrial" alternative to the GW Cities of Death buildings.

I certainly looks intriguing, and the aesthetic design is pretty solid.

However, some of the details, such as the lines between the panels/plates and the rivets, look as if they're only printed on. This means that there is something of a limitation on painting them your own way / making them "your own."

That is, of course, unless you're willing to sit and slice plastic rod into rivet-nubs for a few hours...

Yu Jing Guijia (add diacritics to taste), so not quite 5cm tall. Probably means that these wouldn't really offer 54mm headroom.

Also, aside from what Ynek said about the lack of raised detail, not cheap. That stack in the first picture would be £64 before adding in the stairs (not yet on sale), I'm not seeing much that I couldn't make out of plasticard given an afternoon and some stock railings/ladders.

As far as I can tell, that's just laser cut and engraved MDF sections glued together. £64 seems a lot for scenery that doesn't quite fit our miniatures. I echo Marco's statements about making my own, though I must admit that being able to use the laser cutter at my school for free as long as I provide the materials may have somewhat coloured my attitude toward such kits (and I will miss the laser cutter when I leave 6th form, it's such a handy tool)

Edit: I have just had a look at them, and they're exactly what I suspected. I could probably make some copies of it, but to 54mm scale on our cutter if I could find time around my workload.

It looks interesting but far too expensive for what it is. It looks like what I could make with a printer and some cardboard.

It is a *bit* expensive, but MDF is quite a hardy material for terrain, and the laser-cut designs are rather good.

Looks useful for an Inquisitor board

laser-cut is just exploding at the moment, practically every week there are new sets coming out from all sorts of different (and frequently brand new) companies. I suspect the bubble will burst and settle down slightly to a manageable level within a year or two - but for 28mm is is a very good time for high quality kit scenery.

These sets look pretty usable for 54mm, count the door as an access hatch and say no more really, not exactly covered in scale details so no problems.

Or say "yes, it is a bit small, this abandoned mining complex was staffed by offworlders of short stature and large beards... They vanished at some point, all that was noticed was a sort of insect-y noise..."

Ha ha ha, Dapperanarchist!  ;D Nice scenery, but more suited for 40k than ]I[nquisitor.
