I haven't settled 100% on these yet (they still need some work on their feet, and I'm not sure if I will use those exact poses and bits combinations,) but I thought that some of you might like to see the conversion potential of the Russian plastic 'Insurgent' models that were mentioned in this thread. (http://www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=307.0) I hope that you like them.

p.s. why am i awake now?
I was awake then, as well! N1S was barfing all over his carpet. Joy.
I'm loving the Insurgents, though. I don't suppose we can "count" them as GW minis given the obvious pirating that's been employed? ::)
R.
Thats worked well, I presume its a paint friendly plastic..
sprayed mine in the usual chaos black. covered as you`d expect. no probs.
Nice conversions Nick - I wasn't sure about these models when I first saw them, but you've convinced me.
they really do look very good with minimal bitz use. Will definately add them to my very long "to buy" list ::)
I'm glad that you like them.
they look good, massive feet though! lol
im tempted by the gladiators from the range, could be used as the base for some bare chested robed cultists
