Well, hello all.
I had all the thread saved, just in case, bar the last few posts.
If people are keen to continue, that'd be awesome.
If not, I can take this over as a solo endeavor, edit all the characters who aren't mine into new characters and re-write the posts to suit, and move it forwards.
And, stick with me, if you're mostly confused by things so far - there is an overarching plan... Honest!

I'm still looking for Inquisitors to add to this RP. I'm happy to discuss characters and concepts, and perhaps a couple of other threads to be slowly woven into this one.
I'm still in if there're more than just three or four of us, but I think if it's really lost momentum I may well duck out.
I'd like to continue if we can, though.
I think a lot of people were just struggling with the slow start and the cryptic nature of things - that's my fault - but I have enough fuel for this to make it go long term and hopefully have a few twists along the way.
There's my ultra long post to go up, after this one, then we're back to where we were, bar one or two posts. The intention is to take this beyond Fahrech, and perhaps into some darker spaces. There's a few plot strands and there's a few villains to come yet.
I must confess I couldn't keep up and don't feel I'll be able to do it any justice if I keep going. By all means have Aw'cer killed off in all sorts of gribbly ways, though, assuming you still have posts with him involved.
No worries. I will think of something.
Everything is more or less back up to speed.
I've got confirmation from Macabre that he will still be on-board, and a few ideas for other people.
The RP is also still recruiting, so anyone that's interested, get in touch.

You know, I might just be able to find some time to involve myself in this little adventure if you'll have me on board Ben? I'll do some thinking on what character I'd like to throw at this and get back to you. If you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see though I'm very open to suggestions.

Any character you like, to be honest. I don't have any archetypes in mind, at all, though Inquisitors would remain the preference.
I'm not going to be pro-actively killing people off, and am looking to affirmatively develop people's characters collaboratively and move them forward.
EDIT - just to confirm, have a tentative from Stuart that he will be continuing his role as Hangatyr.

I'll do some poking tonight on MSN (I will be on if anyone wants to chat through next posts and steps) and hopefully we'll be able to get this thing moving with a couple of posts. I've got some more scene setting and movements to do with my own characters, so that'll be my next post.

Yes. I'd suggest you post the Ark rescue / liberation / acquisition, that would be brilliant. If you still have the other post, that's even better.... :D
And I found it in the dark depths of the desktop computer. Soon I shall begin work on writing up the Ark acquisition, but first... To Tango! (Ok, I'm not really tangoing, I'm eating and walking the dogs and things, but tangoing sounds so much more interesting.)
Excellent. We're on a bit of a roll, then, and I'm pleased about that.
Moving forward, I'm hoping to bring another person on board in approximately a week and half's time, and I'm still actively looking for further people....
I'm expecting posts today from Van and Macabre, which means we're finally starting to trundle on a bit which is good! At that point, the onus would be all on me to move it forward a step, which is fine. ETA for a post from me, assuming all is well with other posters, would be Tuesday / Wednesday next week as a soft deadline, and a week today as a hard deadline. It's likely the movement posts would be purely for everyone else's characters and guidance to appear here in terms of objectives.
How I see it stepping is
- Kartheim / Van's / Nimo all arriving at Fahrech <- Input from Ben
- Intro and discussion - Diori and Stobek <- Input from everyone else
- Intro and planning - Kartheim, Van, Nimo, Diori, Stobek, Junious <- All
- First posts station side in each section <- Ben
From that point, at least for two - three posts, I imagine it to be largely back and fourth with some email discussion on the horrors in each section.
After which, we move onto Fahrech endgame, resolution and next steps!

I've been out of the story for a while, so it'll take me a few days to refresh my memory and work out what I was going to do with Diori and Stobek.
I probably won't post before next week, but I'll aim for early rather than late in the week.

I'm not entirely pleased with that post but when I tried rewriting it when I was half way through I couldn't do it without first person so I continued the one which is up. Now that's some needless information for you all. If you're wondering why the Brown Melling thing is so weird, that's because I couldn't find Melling's name then did and then decided to use both Brown and Melling as it made sense and fitted with my general plan. Officially however, it's because of the electronic/magnetic data-banks in the back of Melling's head and his weird souped up body. I mean, if you had some crazy cool body and stored information for other people, you'd be weird as well.
Also, so more trivia for anyone who's interested, Gr. is a title like Mr but different, and is the general one, whereas Sr. is the one used for sales-men and people in the retail business. There are many others as well, which can be quite confusing, especially for a Big Issue seller, do you address them as a hobo (there is a title for that in that particular country on that particular planet) or as someone in the retail business.
A quick wee introduction to the character I'm bringing to the party, Inquisitor Ivan Carntyne, Ordo Malleus Venixian.
Left a couple of hooks in there for you to drag him into the piece Ben - either through Thackery or Misery. Opposite ends of the social spectrum to aim at!
Looking forward to collaborating with you all - it's been too long since I was involved in an IC RP. Let's just hope I can keep pace...

As it turns out, the Real Life TM that prevented me from getting around to posting was less catastrophic than expected, since I have most of a pre-prepared post to work with already.
This post represents a sad little coffee break from fixing the next Stobek post, which should be up before y'all get home from work tomorrow.

Apologies, I got hit with a demand on my time and catching up with RPs slipped my mind.
I am still interested, but it's going to take me a while to get sorted, not least because I realised that my notes on Inquisitrix Rhodes are an incoherent mess. To turn the "fun" all the way up to eleven, it turns out that for some reason I elected to not write them in a sensible language like English...
I don't make my life easy. But what's life without challenges?

I should note that I seldom ever use MSN accounts other than my "private" one, which I use only for people I know in person, and know well. (I prefer some separation of my real life and my online life.)
I keep forgetting to log onto the others.
I've had a breakthrough, my current post stands at seven pages long, and I just have another four or five to go...I'll have it up for Sunday. But for now, sleep as I have been writing all night.....
Just a quick update. I've started my post - currently running at 1500 words - and I've put in the last of the reveals, for now, about the overarching plot. Almost everything else I post now will be pure driving posts to move things forward, so it should mean the end of the slow start - at least for posts from me - and that things will tick over.

Dropped another largely inconsequential post.
Foreshadowing, just on the off chance that it ever becomes useful to have a pre-prepared shellshocked wanderer in the station, or for Gnomen to be mildly psychic, or mad, or some combination thereof.
If anyone wants to lay claim to the broadcasting walker, then feel free - I have no further ideas for him/her as of yet, except that it is probably human, a resident of the station, and presumably [almost literally] scared witless. With the tiniest of psychic talent.
I was going to have them witness the exchange between Maya and the daemon, but I figured for the moment there was no need for specifics.
Anyway, more people should more post.

I think I'm meant to wait on Dosdamt though, I'm not really sure. If there's something I'm meant to be doing, I'll do it. I'm probably going to the WHW thing this weekend, so we can talk there if you like. (Assuming I do go, obviously, I'm pretty sure I will, though I'm also pretty sure I'll be drastically unprepared, it crept up on me like a cat on a stone)
Sorry to bump a long-dead thread, but vaguely relevant news (to those involved):
As a break from revision, I'm going to write up a little 'extraction' post, work out a way to say 'the investigation was concluded and my character went home'.
So hopefully I can use him in a summer Rp.
Anyway, it'd be good to get a few of the characters to be exited as well, so if a few more people do the same the story could be finished properly.
Well I've already drawn up Aw'cer's demise (cause of death: Agares) so I don't think you'll get one out of me...
However, it does free up Agares for later use. I've a feeling Khorne might promote him to Herald before long.
Writing hasn't really happened, but I figure the easiest deus ex machina to use is a Monodominant or similarly hardline anti-Chaos Inquisitor intercepting a comminication between an agent (probably Stobek) and someone not present (probably Stobek's handler Inquisitor Vahen).
This leads them to investigate and purge, possibly through the use of a fleet and a small boarding army, possibly through extreme ship-based firepower, maybe by nudging the stating out of orbit to decay, perhaps even towing it into the sun.
Anyway, this big noisy figure gives enough warning for Aw'cer and Agares to book it, Stobek argues and stands down and is recalled, the agents on their way (Nimo and maybe others) arrive to find a wrecked (or an absence of) station and everyone is extricated from the dead story with minimal fuss.
As it is, I don't think many of the characters actually met each other, with the exception of Stobek and Aw'cer, who I would imagine didn't make particularly memorable impressions on each other.
I'm guessing no-one will have any problem with this, but if you do, shout.
And if you can contribute, all the better.
No problems with that, and it certainly explains why Agares might have gotten pissed off enough with Aw'cer to get shot of him -- Khorne isn't too fond of running away from a good fight.
That sounds good to me, though I don't think I'll be contributing. Coursework and exams and exams and coursework. Though it does sound like a good reason for Nemo not to venture planet-side, what with everyone he was meant to meet up with pulling out.
