Some of you may remember that I had built an Ogryn servitor, and had him nearly finished when he fell off of a high shelf, hitting everything on the way down, and shattering on the floor.

After a long time spent in pieces, he is finally back together, with significant alterations, and the construction phase is almost done.

What do you think?

Stormgrad

he looks big and thus scary, i see him being a massive bullet magnet in games i just love the big screaming head

Holiad

A nice miniature-neatly assembled and characterful without being overdecorated.
Poor noble Marech
Noone 'till the end could see
Your brave heart of fire

Holy moly that's cool! Any chance we could get a scale shot?
An Inquisitor walks into a bar - he rolls D100 to see if he hits it.

I think the fists are an improvement on the last one - these look practical, but also quite capable of crushing rapscallions!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Here is a scale shot with a fairly standard guardsman model.

As you can see, he is an absolute monster.

rapscallions!

Now there's a word that doesn't get used often enough!

Aurelius 12

Blimey, he's a big lad isn't he!

He's great- the hands work really well, and I like the details on his armour.

Can't wait to see him painted.
And the Saint did weep when she saw how lost the people were. Seven tears fell upon Gomorrah. Seven tears to wash away their sin. A deluge of heavenly tears drowned their world in an ocean of forgiveness. The people cleansed in a sea of nuclear fire.

Kaled

Very nice work - everything fits together very well.  If it were me I'd put him on a larger base - he's already leaning and as he's fallen once I think a larger base would mitigate against it happening again.
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.

Great stuff!  Two questions:

1) Where are the feet from?

2) Are those kneepads from the RT-era plastic orks set?

Thanks Robey.

Two answers:

1) The feet are from this awful model (although I didn't pay anything like that much for it.)

2) Yes they are. Well spotted.

Heroka Vendile

I rmember the american guy on the previous 'clave with the massive collection hat included three Ogryns converted from that model.
It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.
The Order of Krubal
Rewards Of The Enemy

Stormgrad

ok his much bigger than i thought, i love the movement in the model, any rules for him yet - I would expect that such a character would be very scary to face

Alyster Wick

I like the update on this guy.  Very clever use of various backpacks for his chest/stomach bionics and the dredd arms fit in perfectly.  I'll echo his need for a larger base, from purely a gameplay perspective he warrants something bigger and it'd be a shame from a modeling perspective to give yourself such a small area to play with in terms of creating a base to match this stunning conversion.
