Salute 2012

It's a few weeks away, 21st of April - I surely can't be the only one attending?

Forgeworld will be there, Black Library too, as well as some retailers of 54mm like Heresy (Inheritors of Steve Buddle's Spyglass/Eolith range, Hasslefree, Kerr & King and Micro Art (both of whom do some lovely bases) and Maxmini, Zinge Industries and Anvil Industry - three suppliers I frequently go to when I'm too damned lazy to sculpt something, which is often.

Tickets are £10 in advance, £11 on the door and it's in the Excel Centre, London Docklands (Zone 3 for those of you using travelcards

I've been considering it, depending on various factors. It's a fairly cheap return ticket and there's lots of interesting wargaming stuff, so it seems like it could be a good day.

One thing to say is that Heresy only inherited the 28mm parts of Steve Buddle's ranges - the 54mm stuff is now part of Model Display Products' "War Griffon" range, but I think they'll be there too.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Damn, those are only the 28mm versions? I didn't know some of those *had* 28mm versions

You should definitely come along, you absolutely need more models, plus you'd be only the...third? maybe fourth 'Claver to meet me in person.

And none of the other post very often anymore....

I'll be there as per usual demoing with Privateer Press all day.    Planning on getting some bits, but mainly a FW enforcer to get the Cyberhound for Enforcer Camiron.   See if this one survives any longer than her previous two.
