Hi guys,

This will be my modelling thread. I have about 50 54mm models now mostly made up and will start painting them. Hoping to keep you updated and myself inspired with this community.

So if this works it'll be a picture of my ordo malleus inquisitor. After a particularly vicious engagement he was saved and 'upgraded' by an eldar group who had been drawn by their warlock to ensure the daemons banishment.

This is a member of his warband, Sister Le Guill. A Demonhuntress I found on ebay and upgraded with some greenstuff and a psycannon (I had so many of these floating around this warband is getting THEM ALL :). I'll paint her armour up to match his silver and red scheme.

Here are a bunch of models from various warbands ready for spray paint..

And a few I tried my new army painter flesh spray on as a base to work from..

This is the current standing of my Eldar collaberating warband. I'm still deciding their story and just who is really pulling the strings. The male inquisitor is the official leader with his female acolyte and highborn noble who was taken in for his obsession and dealings with eldar and proved to be valuable in his knowledge of the xenos. The two eldar 'advisors' are brothers and little is known of them or their true motives. The warband has had succes against the great enemy and continues to work together dispute a lack of trust.

And the last photo's of today

My Arbites Hunt Team led by Judge Ged and his two Chasers. (After watching Dredd this past weekend I will be painting them to match the film/comic colour scheme :)

And My latest 3 Heretics turned good.. Arco-flagellants! The One who had his body slowly removed and grafted onto the recon mastif was a particularly vile sinner.

Lots of good stuff here. Some of the bands look like they might be a tad over powered but it really depends on what the average is among your own gaming group. The "mastiff" has to be my favorite but you have some really interesting parts combos that work well.

On that note I really need to work to find the alternate Kroot head that has all the weird gubbins. Always thought it was strangely versatile and you've proven it here.

Thank you! He's my mutie preacher who leads my scabby band of freaks in their fight for survival.

The Flaggalent mastif is the model I'm most looking forward to painting right now.

I definitely been a little heavy on the armoury side but my interest's shifting towards less combat orientated agents lately. I'll be catching up with photos in the next few days as I've been building in54 for the last 6months or so.

I've only ever played 1 game when the system was first released so don't really know the average punching power of a warband. My mechanicum exploratory team is my largest and most dangerous group right now. Although I'm collecting Artemis's for a kill squad when I feel up to that much sawing and pinning some of the space marine models on here are incredible.

This is X-14 this weekends edition to my mechanicus band. A dual plasma gun sevitor.

I'm looking forward to painting the burns being near that much hot plasma causes.

Heroka Vendile

eep! I hope those will be plasmaguns rather than plasma cannons! still ouch, but slightly less so.

Nice work, not sure the flesh spraypaint is the best choice of basecoat considering how little flesh most of the models are showing.
It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

These are the latest additions to my collection.

At the back a necron and Giant squig I picked up in the states. Hoping to run some catch/tag/kill the xenos games with them as tough opponents.

Bottom left is a stunted mutie with pistol and sword I made from an old empire merc ogre.

In the middle is my mutie witch. She's slightly pyschic and creates madness and hulicinations in her enemies.

Bottom right is a female ranger to add to my eldar band. I converted her from the 54mm staff wood elf model released some time ago.

Hoping to get some painting done soon!!

Here's my 54mm work of late..

Two chaos space marines. Converted from demon prince bits I found on eBay.

They're currently under coated and awaiting some paint!
